    Couldn’t they just weigh the tire new and used?

    1. Can’t be that bad, or the sides of the roads would be deep in used tire dust, like horse poop, if everyone was still riding horses..

      Some modern tires can go 100,000km and loose a couple pounds of rubber, each, in the process..

  2. regarding the german weed whacker approach, never forget a visit out west, huge swaths of clear cut and ground rubble bulldozed into piles.
    that part puzzled me so l ask the kid brother forestry consultant and he tells me the ndp administration took offense at how untidy the sheared off forest looked so they took it down to the plain dirt.
    ye gawds, CLUELESS as to true forestry management but given TOTAL POWER to engage in it.
    also scotland has already done this
