  2. The Freedom Convoy “posed a risk of serious violence” so we had to stop them before it happened.

    For the online harms bill, though, you can trust us not to abuse the pre-crime provision. That will be much different.

    1. So violence is ok but not serious violence? What is the threshold for that? Passing wind when you see a picture of a Lieberal politician? Or how about the thought crime of voting the Lieberals out of office?

    Here’s how this will likely work:

    “Thousands of truckers and Canadians assemble in Ottawa to protest our authoritarian government.
    Our Deputy PM, Chrystia Freeland (our UKRO NAZI finance Minister), writes a note to our CSIS director demanding he find a way to classify the protest as a domestic terror network.

    Four men on the other side of the country who also happen to be protesting the government are set up by police and intelligence in a conspiracy plot, therefore providing the pretext to deem the nationwide protest a nationalist domestic terror network- as Chrystia Freeland requested.

    The federal government invokes the Emergency Act, seizing assets and bank accounts. But since the protest was largely organized on the internet, this legislation would also apply, and because the feds have now deemed the protesters white nationalist domestic terrorists, anyone arrested could pass through a kangaroo court and be sent to prison for life.

    LIFE.

    This is as close to Stalin tossing millions of innocent people into the gulags as any western democacy has ever gotten. Canadians, if we don’t wake up this will be our reality. Once a precedent is set, and because the word “hate” is so ambiguous, virtually anything you say on the internet that does not run exactly parallel with federal government narratives could result in actual prison terms- with a maximum life sentence.

    We’re continuing our descent into a very dark reality and we’re standing at the threshold of no return. We have to fight back now or there will be nothing left to fight for.”
