Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

What They Say About SDA
"Smalldeadanimals doesn't speak for the people of Saskatchewan" - Former Sask Premier Lorne Calvert
"I got so much traffic after your post my web host asked me to buy a larger traffic allowance." - Dr.Ross McKitrick
Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
“Dundas, a key minister in the British government, amended a 1792 resolution to endorse gradual rather than immediate abolition of the slave trade.
A city report, informed by staff interviews with 20 experts and a review of academic research, concludes his actions contributed to the perpetuation of enslavement.”
No actual experts were consulted to point out the House of Lords didn’t pass the 1792 resolution, making what Dundas did irrelevant. Nor is it mentioned how many times previously this resolution came up and was voted down, before Dundas amended it to get it passed in the House of Commons.
nothing like putting an african word in the middle of trona.
maybe a made up word like Kwanza
Especially from the Africa slave trading empire who exported more African slaves than what was imported into north America
Eventually all history of the “colonizers” will have been erased, and replaced with a story written by Disney. Canada will then have completed its transition to imaginary nation, whiteboard for whatever tale the wokesters consider most fashionable.
Started when Disney was sold a copyright licence for the Mounties.

What the hell does Sankofa have to do with ANYTHING Canadian? I am absolutely fed up with this kind of CRAP!
Henceforth to be known as “Fukofa Square”. That is what I will call it (not that I ever intend to visit there).
Yup Me Two!
?
Sankofa?
l thought it was some kind of coffee brand promo.
the 787 tho, that address had a ring to it. sho nuff!
drove a buddy to Pearson after xmas visit, havent been in hog town for over a decade before that.
It’s time Canadian truckers organized boycotts of Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria… every Elitist city.
From my own personal experience thus far in the “land of the living skies,” Regina is also falling into that trap.
So far all that has happened is the statue of Sir John A. Mcdonald has been taken out of Victoria Park, and that every day we’re reminded we are on Treaty 4 land etc etc. They also want to rename Dewdney Ave. but that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
I was expecting a native … er … indigenous term. This is a WTF/RUFKM name.
GLO-BULL went out of their way NOT to tell you the whole truth behind the word “Sankofa.”
Propaganda at it’s finest, including the whale disguised as a “journalist” walking around the square carrying a mock-up of the sign bearing the name “Sankofa”, and asking people on the street if they’ll ever accept the name change.
From the looks of the responses, the presstitutes have their work cut out for them.
We are skipping the “natives” and going straight to the “immigrants” because … colonialism.
Nope, they just picked a word from the Ashanti empire, so one might ask if they wanted to “go back and get” the proud history of exporting slaves to the new world…
We are moving at the speed of stupid and ignorance is the order of the day.
It’s all so trivial and idiotic, and financially wasteful. However, there are valid reasons behind it, when viewed from an elite or global perspective. It’s just a small part of the tearing down of established norms, to “nudge” us all to better living within the great reset framework. This whole globalist WEF/UN/WHO/Gates etc is all part of the same juggernaut rolling ever larger into our lives. From their perspective, our resistance is futile.
A hundred years from now, those still fortunate to be alive will not know of any other way of life, history will be sanitized, and they will be much more docile and easily manipulated by this evil elite reset. The elites are truly thinking long term. As has been said by many on this blog in various threads, we won’t be voting our way out of this diabolical plan!
Has anyone else noted that a couple of years back, the UN, the WHO, the WEF were making suggestions and recommendations, but nowadays they are starting to demand compliance with their agenda!
I’m afraid to admit… but it’s looking more and more like there’s only one way out of this mess, and it isn’t my preferred solution.

Careful there girly boi, you may just trigger yer self!
Please tell me they will have a public consultation on naming? If they do, SDA better get results.
Sankofa…’reflecting on and reclaiming the past’.
There’s a joke about Olivia Chow and Layton in there somewhere.
Help me here all you witty SDA’ers.
Some of you are old enough to remember.
E. Jack U. Layton was just expressing his preference for oriental ladies , wife or not . muse or masseuse
and then quietly rode away on his bicycle as the story goes .
Ahhh, but there’s history in that word:
“Never guessed what I did today, Olivia. I helped out this poor Vietnamese girl. Her fishing boat sankofa the Trawna islands and I gave her a pole to grab.”
Laughable Legends. Turdo la first was a brilliant, brave, stud; Pecker Jack was a humanitarian.
787 Dundas St W – The Velvet Touch – Jack’s favourite hangout – the place he hung it out? Not every story has a happy ending – his did.
I retell it often, but I have to retell the greatest joke in Canadian political history, originally told in happier times by the great Mark Steyn:
This cop walks into the whorehouse and sees Jack Layton, sitting naked on the bed.
The cop says, “Okay, you, what’s your name?”
And Jack Layton says, “I’m Jack Layton.”
And the cop says, “Look, I can see what you’re doing. I asked you, what’s your name?”
It is fitting that they took a word from the slave trading nation of Ghana and used it to replace a name from the nation that worked (and succeeded in european controlled areas) to bar slave trading. /sarc
As an aside question, Is slave trading still taking place in North Africa and some muslim parts of the Middle East?
Open air slave markets in Tripoli?
I am ok with all this but you can not use the colonialists alphabet to promote it. The street names must use the written language of the culture they represent. If you are going to use “indigenous” names for the streets then they must use the writing of the culture they represent. How dare they use our numeric and writing system to express their culture.
So what is the written alphabet of Ghana? Asking for a friend
Petroglyphs?
https://www.bradshawfoundation.com/africa/niger/gallery/index.php
They write the Ghana way.
787 = Chinese numble for browjob?
They do it simply because they can.. Banning, renaming, mandates.. A government that promotes revolution and torment.. Oh look, we hired a committee of hacks to recommend the tyranny.. That makes it legit..
The big problem is 95% of the people don’t have time to get involved with the BS.. Even if they did, nobody is going to fund leave well enough alone.. No money in that..
“The concept of Sankofa originated in Ghana”
Makes sense once you know Ghana is something like the 10th dumbest country on earth
