    which having done the oopsie, the powers that be then opted to ‘make the most’ of the ‘research’ opportunity.

  5. Kinda surprised that Loraas wasn’t number two. They have excellent coverage of all the issues, what with their dumpsters and blue bins being pretty much everywhere!

  6. A couple of points on The Prairie Dog.

    This may be the official newspaper of the left side of the NDP. I knew the founders from when I was in high school “a few years ago” and they’ve been this way since then.

    I think whoever nominated “Just Bins” in the news category against CBC, CTV, or any other MSM outlet in Canada would have been laughing out loud while they did this… it’s close to nominating “Boaty McBoatface” for the name of that British ship a decade ago. Or putting soccer in the same category as “Women’s Sports” at The Onion….

    Good on them…
