  1. Progs know what it does.
Some parents are figuring it out as well.
Enough to make a difference ?
With the state of parenting , education and Modern Liberalism.
    Add in the pandemic.
It’s going to take a miracle.
It s easier tearing down a society than rebuilding one .
    Good luck PP

  2. When you think the state should start regulating pixels on screens because “muh mental health”, you’re lost.
    Adams is a fool.

  3. I’d add:
    “extensive PUBLIC clinical trials.”

Moderna and Pfizer have spent all their “integrity coins.” As an example, back in 2021 Moderna was doing clinical trials, but shut some of them down quickly when significant negative reactions showed up in the data. Other trials were dependent on Pfizer and Morderna providing their results orally without specific data to be reviewed. The onion layers are gradually being pulled back in the present, but that didn’t help decision making back when this pandemic was initially blooming.

    1. I just finished watching the 1970’s movie “Network.” The insanity and moral decay in that scenario is not much unlike what happened in the pharmaceutical industry, not to mention how jaded the reaction was to the network among the general population.

It’s almost as if Hollywood was trying to tell us something, even back then, but then, you know… “conspiracy theory!”

    2. The ironic thing is that when Moderna switched their focus around 2017 from therapeutic drugs to vaccines, they did so using the rationale that some of adverse effects they were seeing in animal testing were due to the accumulation of doses, and with “vaccines people only get one or two doses”.

Now, we have idiots up to their eight dose of Covid vaccine, with no testing in humans of what that accumulation of doses will do to animals, let alone people.

  4. We don’t know what it does to the brain? Ah, I think we know with great certainty.

    1. We’d be the same handed a smart phone at ten years old ,no questions asked, or anything expected from us, let alone a vr set or glasses.

      1. Pretty soon, you won’t need the goggles. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. (h/t Locutus. Great handle, btw…)

    2. Judging from what my wife tells me about the students in her elementary school, they will be non-functional because they are dysfunctional already from watching TikTok or playing Roblox on just one screen.

  5. All the children/young adults of to-day will be zombies, you will own nothing and be happy and it is happening. All learned by using the AI programs over hand held devices. I’m glad I’m old and know what is going on with this Socialist, Communist country named Canada.

  6. Sure we know what it will do. The viewer will get a headache, take the glasses off, and feel better.

Then Apple will lose a large amount money. Because they are stupid.

  7. “We don’t know what this will do to brains”.

Well we can surmise just like Sesame Street shortened attention spans in kids this will exponentially shorten attention spans and influence weak minds.

It will be the ultimate non chemical drug

  8. What a fear-mongering clown. The tech involved has lots of uses, and the fact that it gets abused by idiots means sweet FA. Ever looked up a video to learn how to fix something? Now imagine having it with you to look at while you fix something. But this clown just wails “Fear the Tide Pod!”
    Idiot.

  9. Not quite sure what the point is. But if it’s “technology is addictive”, I guess it is for some people. I’ll even up that to “for far too many people”. But hey, it’s here to stay, and there’s nothing this old cowboy can do about it.

    1. It is the rate people are consuming content that is the problem. Tiktok is bad enough. Now imagine 3 screens of it, hands free.

      1. It’s comforting to know that the crowd who can’t walk-and-chew-gum get to put multi-tasking on their resumes once their inheritances run out.

  10. its all going tob e by proxy some day.
find out what it looks like to do a loop in an f35 whilst the seat does a back flip.
    vacation over.
wish l bought a wee bit more gold that time.

  11. Big deal. OK so we already know tik tok is retarded. Using augmented reality goggles to watch tik tok is like using a ferarri to haul garbage. I’ve been using the Quest 3 for a couple of months and it’s VR goggles and augmented reality. It’s just another form of display to do what you’d do with a computer. Very neat for flight simulators though. Or watching movies on a gynormous screen. At $3k a pop for the apple thingy, I don’t think it will sell too much, unless the hype catches on.
