Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

What I find interesting is the statue of Confederate officer, masonic leader, Albert Pike, who may or may not have written the KKK’s rules and regs, still sits in a warehouse awaiting a decision from Congress who don’t seem to be in a rush to get rid of him just yet.
If there is a statue of Martin Luther King, it will come done eventually. They just don’t know it yet.
MLK was a Marxist whose statue deserves being torn down.
Sorry lefties. Sorry virtue-signaling conservatives. He wasn’t all that great.

Oh, you mean Michael King, Jr. (his real name)?
Yeah, he was a womanizer, a cheater and a shameless plagiarist who would never, ever have been certified as a doctor these days. Don’t tell any of that to his diehard supporters, though.
Let’s get back to the point. They tear down our statues, we tear down their statues.
I know, Jonathan Kay is probably an acquired taste around here, but when he’s right, he’s right:

TL:DR:
Toronto found a “gay pioneer”, put up a statue with no evidence he was actually gay, then a few years later, unpersoned him and threw him into the memory hole for the “crime” of while not actually being involved in the Residential Schools – having died decades before – you can’t be too sure about these things.
