One gets the feeling that he wants the liberals reduced by 2/3rds, eliminating the deadwood, flushing the Trudeau faction and enabling him to appear as a rescuing white knight in the eventual leadership race, letting the conservatives take the blame for cleaning house while he presents as a savior. Given his globalist/ climatetology stance, this makes him one of the most dangerous (closet) politicians in Canada.
