         1. A struggling student/pastor friend bought an old Volvo station wagon for the $400 cost of the stereo. It was painted matte black with big silver stars on the front doors. It had an unbalanced driveshaft causing severe vibrations.

            Some car thief stole it but abandoned it after half a block of bad vibes.

            1. My brother had a pickup stolen in a small town. The gas tank was empty and it was abandoned a couple blocks later.

         1. A friend of mine had a 20 year old pickup, he was a mason by trade, now retired but he would pick up smaller jobs for cash. The truck was so rusted we used to wonder how he managed to drive it without being stopped for a safety check. Well, someone stole it, of course it ran out of gas. The police found it, no plates, and had it towed to a wrecking yard. The guy at the yard knew whose truck it was and called him and he got new plates and picked it up. He laughed with us over a beer or two and said whoever took it wasn’t much a thief as he had a couple of thousand dollars worth of tools in the box in back, the tools were still there.

2. Well, when hundreds of thousands of less than desirable criminals flood Canada from the 3rd World what did you expect. It is not difficult to connect the dots. Not sure a summit is required, but I suppose you need an excuse or a reason to write off the limos, hotels, booze and caviar.

3. News reports state that Bong’s summit will invite city police chiefs, etc. I has thought the federal government would have invited sociologists, ciminologists, ethnic-minority leaders and organized crime leaders to head up the conference.

4. I had someone try to car jack me a few months ago. It was after dark on a Sunday evening and I was in the big city in Manitoba visiting family. Scared the crap out of me. Never had such an experience before even while traveling in the USA. Fortunately for me, it ended well. I wish I could adequately describe the look on the would be thug’s face when my German Shepherd arose from his nap in the back seat to express his opinion of the situation.

   Since nothing actually happened, the police were not interested in my information.

Wouldn’t that be embarrassing if stolen cars exported from Quebec and British Columbia ports were linked to the Liberals via Asian and Middle Eastern crime syndicates and port authorities? They don’t call them Liberanos for no reason, Toronto and Quebec are Liberal strongholds and Quebec is the most corrupt province in Canada.

They can’t do a thing from federal level but they can PR about it with a “national summit”. National? This issue is clearly local, for a few large urban areas, certainly not national. Anyway rest assured, peasants: some arranged stats afterwards will clearly show that Dear Leader solved this pb too.

12. Let me take a wild swing at this situation – high end cars are the main target, owned by people who actually have money to spend on high end cars so very likely Liberal supporters who are getting stuck with higher insurance premiums – Justin to the rescue.

       2 years ago March I interrupted thieves after they had gotten into the car and were connecting to change the coding.
       White guy leading the group, fat assed east indian guy doing the computer work, hijab covered female waiting to drive.
       They did not get my car. Indian guy wound up running down the road without his jogging pants (commando) as they’d come off when he fell as I got him out of the car.
       I’m definitely conservative.
       Toronto lieberals may be whining, but the car thieves just want the car.
