    1. I have a sixteen year old lab terrier cross that went deaf five years ago, I noticed her lack of response to verbal and started hand and foot signals. She picked it up quick, she is happy with the communication and some times silent barks for things like treats or belly rubs yet gets vocal when necessary. People think I trained the old girl but we just naturally adapted so we can communicate and at distance I don’t have to yell or whistle.

    1. I’m going to play devil’s advocate here, GYM, because you and I, apparently, agree that there was election fraud.
      But in this case, proving it is possible for the machines to be hacked is not necessarily proof that the machines were actually hacked on election day.
      And now, I’m going to swing the other way.
      Just because there is no evidence to PROVE that election fraud took place doesn’t necessarily mean that fraud didn’t occur. It only means that it can’t be proven… yet.
      It is interesting, though, that the judge found it necessary to seal the findings, and for the secretary of state to keep it covered up for two years.

        This fallacy occurs when you argue that your conclusion must be true, because there is no evidence against it. This fallacy wrongly shifts the burden of proof away from the one making the claim

        Much of the fraud is bc of the dominion machines, and the unDORK blathered on the expert who hacked into a dominion machine will testifying to congress , actually hacked into a pol pad. The clown form dominion had testified that the machines were not connected to the net, and couldn’t be hacked. This destroys their argument. Now you just proved how STUPID you actually are. Destroy the basis of their contention, and you destroy their whole premise , and their personal “beliefs”. Now try keeping up IDIOT I get sick and tiered of stupid A-holes like you.

            Easily: they obviously needed to be selective about which machines they targeted to ensure the desired outcome.

            Can you explain why that ‘one case’ doesn’t prove fraud, even though it would clearly have been multiplied by as many more machines as necessary to achieve the ultimate goal? Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

    3. I followed the Georgia senate in the 2021 Senate run-off when Perdue was ahead by 115,000 votes after 92% of the vote was counted. After 94% of the vote was counted, he was only about 1,000 votes ahead. Ossoff went on to win. Mmmm! This result meant 50-50 in the Senate with KH having the deciding vote. Mmmm!

    iii) I noticed that in the slums (yes, there were slums, but the Swiss version) all the streets had trolly wires to make sure there was convenient transport for the po’ folks.

    And last, I looked carefully but could not spot a single tent or pile of poop anywhere. Don’t these people know that all major cities have that problem? C’mon, Zurich. Get with the program.

    1. Back in the late 1970’s, I read a book called “Cities and the Wealth of Nations”. One of its major tenets was that there are cultures/countries which value education for all and those who do not. The ones who DO value education, do well. Think about Switzerland (a land-locked small mountainous terrain); think about Japan (small islands, earthquakes, not much arable land); Singapore – again small compared to its neighbours and think about Israel (mostly desert, surrounded by hostile neighbours). They ALL do well. Then think about any country in Africa, most countries in South America and now most of North America and most of Europe. Education and those who value it (also called “smartie-pants”) are being derided.
      I think the west is like a drug addict, we will have to hit rock bottom, before things change dramatically. Just my humble opinion.

      You raise an valid point. but for me, very early in the pandemic, when I saw senior Democrats telling people to go out to restuarants, to the theatre, to movies, and to party normally, I said no thanks.

      It seemed to me that Pelosi, Cuomo, de Blasio etc. were trying to spread COVID.

  18. Driving from Faro YT to Whitehorse in October after a fresh dump (snow). The scrubby trees looked like funky alabaster mushrooms. The high plowed banks rounded in white. It was well after an early sunset, on a crystal crisp “crunchy” cold starlit night. The full moon bathed all deep blue. I turned the headlights off as “Wish You Were Her” was playing. You could see for miles it was so bright.

    Maybe not a tip, just sharing.

    But it’s just an anti-Trump rant using science (there is no science in this piece) to reduce Trump support to tribalism, even quoting Democrats who think Trump has mastered it.
