Under a federal ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’ (DEI) initiative, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is looking to ensure a portion of new hires include individuals with severe intellectual and psychiatric disabilities. The FAA employs around 45,000 federal workers who regulate American aviation safety standards and oversee air traffic controllers.
Related: This is Scott Kirby, the CEO of United Airlines.
.

Well, he certainly seems friendly, in a leg-humping poodle sort of way.
BTW, while he’s busy playing dress up, is there anyone running the airline?
Related: gawwwd … that’s not JUST for the Bohemian Grovers anymore, eh?
Soon. Whoop, Whoop…PULL UP!!
Good grief. Someone make it stop.

Good. So now the girl stewardesses wear a necktie … which I can use to hang onto while “entering” the mile high club with her in the crew lounge. There. Is that genderless enough for these cretins?
Between the short bus piloting the planes, and the TSA harassing citizens while giving a pass to unknown illegal aliens, I think I will never fly commercial again.
In France they just ban short haul flights. Over here they attempt to scare you off the planes. Different places, different method I guess.
France has a reasonably good train system, when they’re not on strike.
We need a cull.
I don’t mean of the smooth brains or the stamp lickers, but of the bureaucracies.
FAA will need to develop braille radar screens for the visually impaired Air Traffic Controller and mandate that communications with pilots be on Zoom with a sign language interpreter for hearing impaired Air Traffic Controllers.
In the last years of the Bill Clinton administration, there was an abortive attempt to bring in mentally-retarded people into the FBI. Then September 11 hit, and the media — angry that the FBI had zllowed in the terrorists — demanded that this diversity initiative be stopped. Now though, the corporate media are full on the DEI bandwagon. This when it is the elites who travel on air flights.

I hope that includes blind pilots.
Thou shalt not discriminate, after all.
United is the one airline I avoid like leprosy. From killing passenger’s small dogs to absolutely garbage customer experience, United will hopefully be an airline I never fly again.
Only flew United once, in 2008. Experience in the air wasn’t a thrill, just dated; cabin of 747 was still in the 1990’s, with CRT TVs hanging from the ceiling. On the ground was different. On my return trip, due to their delays in Sydney, I missed a direct connection from LA to Calgary, and follow-up connection to Saskatoon. To get me there, after a 2 hour wait in LAX, they sent me to San Francisco, where I waited over three hours, for a Calgary flight; got to Calgary, where Air Canada took over the misery. Arrived in Calgary just after midnight, Customs waved me through, just a quick glance at my passport; there was nobody at AC desk. Had to sleep in airport before somebody finally arrived after 6:00 a.m. Showed the clerk my boarding passes and original itinerary; he accused me of lying and trying to steal a flight. Had to wait another half-hour for someone who knew how to operate the booking computer. That person finally checked, and confirmed my woes. No apology for their accusation. At least he got me on the next flight to Saskatoon, but still was another 2 hours. In all, over 14 hours late after my original scheduled arrival home.
Have a trip booked exclusively with AC in a few weeks, avoiding USA completely. (Took it based on price only)
After the return flight from Sydney to Vancouver, I have 1 hr 10 minutes to make my Saskatoon connection, in Vancouver airport. I’ve already accepted I’m not going to make that connection.
United we fly, United we fall.
DEI? No. Always, ALWAYS, **ALWAYS** turn this disgusting acronym into:
“Diversity, Inclusivity, Equity”
because “DIE” is their end goal for us.
Any takers on whether the person who installed that plug door in the Alaska MAX was a diversity hire?
I can just see the Airlines being swamped with Islamic wanna-be Pilots/Martyr – all grads from 6 week courses flying Cessna’s. Now where have I seen THAT before…??
Jihadi’s in Training…add in a smattering of Psychotics, Fentanyl Users, TransLoons and hey, Theres your DEI.
They can hire any Democrat for that.
I sent an email to United Airlines,
InvestorRelations@united.com
with the request:
“There is a video on social media showing a drag queen who is claimed to be CEO Scott Kirby.
Is that accurate?”
After two hours there has been no reply. 🙂
