If Women Ran the World

More here. We wish them the very best success but if their policies range from left to further left, look out for a rapid deterioration of St. Paul.

    1. More likely quite unbalanced! My observation has been that more women who enter politics are extremists than are the men who do the same.

It’ll be interesting to see what economy destroying laws they come up with.

  1. It is always politically correct to count visible minorities. There is only one and she is white.

      1. Ohhhhhhhh mommmaaaaaaaa (very appropriate with this bunch) … how dare you criticize the celebratory garb which originates from their ancestral lands!? Yes, and that includes the woman on the end who is wearing the garb of the 1970’s … the garb of her great-great grandmother who wore a similar “figure-flattering” pink bell-bottom ensemble.

  2. Looked them all up. It’s what you would expect. Climate Justice, Community Organizer, Sharing wealth, Gun safety (as in taking them)….The only issue that any of them pursued that is not within a set left agenda was Nelsie Yang, who “worked hard to make streets safer by lowering the speed limit”….which, I won’t lie, made me laugh out loud…because I’ve been to the Twin Cities in Minnesota…and speeding cars isn’t the primary reason the streets aren’t safe in St. Paul, or Minneapolis.

And, were it me, I wouldn’t lift a finger for “climate justice” if I lived in Minnesota. I’d encourage large carbon footsteps to try and get those temps a little higher.

    1. I am reminded that the State of Minnesota thought nutcase, Jesse Ventura was good choice for governor and bigger nutcase, Al Franken was a good choice for the US Senate. Cold temperatures sure have and interesting effect on humans.

      1. yep.
also where does ilhan omar come from?
l always wondered how she got the votes now we ALL know!!!

      2. I think you’re on to something there …

      3. Actually they didn’t elect Al Franken. It was close but he lost. He lost and the Republican was declared the winner, but then they started finding ballot boxes hidden away, all of them stuffed with votes for Al. When there were enough Al votes to put him over the top, they found no more ballot boxes. He stole it. Practice for the 2020 presidential vote I would guess

  3. This is the dream guys. Let the chicks have the crappy jobs. Just don’t live nearby lol. I can’t wait until every politician in Canada is a woman. It will probably coincide with every sewer being plugged and every streetlight going out. Along with every cop and every soldier being a chick too. Just let them have it! Chinese women trying to parallel park in the city jokes are getting tired. China and Russia wants to laugh too

  4. ” look out for a rapid deterioration of St. Paul.”

As if things could get any worse. Now I can’t breathe.

  5. About two millenia ago, St. Paul was beheaded by Nero.

Now St Paul’s is about to be beheaded by zeroes.

      1. I thought it was John the Baptist that Herod beheaded. I guess ol’ Herod was busier than I thought.

  6. Sweet. Pity the poor mayor who I assume is male is likely in for a rough ride…Pffffttt, who am I kidding, he’s likely a simp. And as I’ve said all along – this is where they …“they”, being bored housewives with useless Liberal Arts degrees cut their teeth and who have a “I want to make a difference” in their profiles. Today it’s municipal…tomorrow it’s the state.
    Watch them. I do.
    Good luck St.Paul.

    1. He deserves it:

Melvin Carter is the 46th, and first African-American mayor of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota’s Capital City. A fourth-generation Saint Paul resident, Mayor Carter leads with an unapologetic equity agenda. Since taking office in 2018, his accomplishments include raising the city’s minimum wage to $15/hour; tripling free program in rec centers; eliminating late fines in public libraries; reestablishing an Affordable Housing Trust Fund; expanding immigrant & refugee support resources, and launching an Office of Financial Empowerment. One signature initiative is CollegeBound Saint Paul, Mayor Carter’s plan to start every child born in the city with a $50 College Savings Account, starting January 1, 2020.

      _______________________________

My personal favorite is “tripling free program in rec centers.” It’s now three times as free!!!!

      1. They probably meant to say “tripling the cost (to taxpayers) for the free rec centers”

  7. Well lets see what they do before we criticize, at least they have not (yet) all stood to applaud a NAZI unlike our own all-so-competent MP’s.

  8. Hmmmm.. What they are showcasing has nothing to do with the job and everything to do with their performance review..

  9. It’s like a full deck of Jyoti Gondeks. Expect they have many utopian plans to burden the citizenry with very soon.

  10. Isiah 3:12:
“Youths oppress my people, women rule over them. My people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path.” NIV
“Childish leaders oppress my people, and women rule over them. O my people, your leaders mislead you; they send you down the wrong road.” NLT

    1. What God has to say about it,
“As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” KJV

  11. Watch out for self destruction.
It will be an illustration on how women can’t stand each other.
    One upmanship of major proportions.

Some might remember, there was a school board in Calgary in the 90’s of the past century, all women.
The people did not think much anything unusual.
Well as it happened, in the first year of the board, if I remember right, the province had to fire them, the women were bickering about every bloody thing, did not get anything done.
As an extra bit, the chairwoman was Smith, though she agreed with the dissolution.

    From Wikipedia:
In 1998, Smith entered politics when she ran for the board of trustees of the Calgary Board of Education. She won, but less than a year later, the chairwoman complained that the board had become dysfunctional. In response, the provincial Minister of Learning, Lyle Oberg, dismissed the entire board after 11 months into their term.

Be careful how you read the screed, it appears to be written by a socialist extremist, not in favorable light.

    1. I’m waiting to see what they are going to do about Meter Maids, abtrapper. That is sooo sexist.

Wanna bet they issue the Meter Maids full auto rifles and authorize them to use deadly force when writing parking tickets?

  12. The band looks to be more qualified.
The word garish comes to mind as I survey this parade and I think the gal with the bassoon would be the most interesting to talk to.
Noticed the first two apparently swapped shoes… or should have… good grief.

  13. Men build.
    Women destroy.
That’s why the Hindu deity of destruction is the Goddess Kali.

  14. First city ordinance they will pass? My bet is:

“All windows are to have nice curtains. These are the approved specifications and colors (see appendix). The owner of any window found not to be in compliance shall be subject to a fine of $500 for each non-compliant window.”
