    1. Exactly. Where is the “quid pro quo”. Extravagence like this once caused a king to lose his head, in most “Democracies” this would be cause for an ousting. Canaduh! not so much, we go from a $4,000.00 a night hotel room to $9,000.00 a night resort and it only elicits a collective yawn. File it with the Agha Khan scandal, the WE scandal, the SNC Lavalin scandal, the Wilson-Rayboult scandal, and the ……wait a minute the filing cabinet is full we need another cabinet.

      1. a very likely scenario. wonder when JT will come out , after all obama did

Justine . the only person capable of crossing his legs at the waist

  1. Is it not illegal to accept gifts which wouldn’t be normally available to non PM type Canadians?

For example, the free samples available to everyone at a grocery store would be exempted
I doubt the $9k rooms were free for everyone in Jamaica over the Christmas season.

Is the “Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner” fully beholden and dependent upon their #Librano connections for their positions as well?

Same as anyone within the #Librano sphere of influence.

  2. I smell another $100 ethics violation fine coming up. Ha. Take that Trudeau.

Canada is not a real country.

  3. It would be a good use of tax dollars to pay the Green family to keep the bastard there for as long as possible. I’d also pay the locals to chum the waters to attract tiger sharks.

  4. We can be sure he declares this quite substantial benefit-value on his income tax..?

  5. I thought he got in trouble for this stuff once before— Aga Khan or something. What is puzzling is that anyone would choose to foot the bill for him.

  6. No major media outlet in Canada would deem this worthy to air. But if you’re Conservative and you get a $16 orange juice, OMG!

  7. SILENCE, PEASANTS!

You will not question Dear Leader’s private affairs.
    —Sincerely, the Canadian MSM

  8. No, really! Just do what some foreign power TELLS you to do and the hotel bill will take care of itself.

  9. Ah, but foreign officials and leaders stayed at Trump’s hotels. One thing is not like the other.
One is patronage, one is not while one is corruption while one is not.
    Depending on identity.

    1. You have to twist yourself into a partisan pretzel to even type that. Trumps hotels are just that, hotels. If I stay at a Hyatt, am I trying to win influence with the Governor of Illinois? Trudeau taking a $100k freebie is the diametric opposite.

  10. Nothing to see here that I can see

The rich people and the movers and shakers of the world aren’t looking for favours when they foot the bill for one of his vacations. They all just want the honor of being able to bask in the glorious magnificence of a dope smoking imbecile

  11. If the politician in question was a conservative, the MSM would be asking how ethical it is for an elected official to accept such a massive gift. Instead, crickets.

  12. Turdhole holidaying at a place with a connection to Mary Jean Mitchell Green….who owned a mining company called Luscar….who mined coal at several mines in Alberta……

Oh Justina, how can you be enjoying the gluttonous proceeds of carbon and earth destruction?

    Oh, the humanity

  13. Shrug. Just the Ivory Tower Trash laughin” and scratchin’ and humpin’ together.

The only takeaway from this story is the huge gulf of perks, privileges, and entitlements between them and us. But that existed and was public knowledge long before Canadians picked the little prick to be their leader.

  14. And to think, when Harper was in power and would take the odd time off to go to a hockey game, the media was right there with ” Did you pay for those tickets?” Really appalling. Talk about a double standard. (And, Harper always did pay for his own hockey tickets.) Is the media even asking questions about who is footing the bill for Trudeau’s Jamaca junket?

    1. So true.
      And Harper wrote a book.
      Juthtin read a book.
The country is circling the bowl and the media need to be punished as much as anyone when The Piper Gets Paid.

  15. what’s worse Canaduh, dear leader sashaying on taxpayers dime or dear leader indebted for the favour to daddy warbucks?
pretty basic Q, each answer very ugly, which one is the uglier?

  16. C’mon, you all, you know who is paying the bills??
    You are!
    We all are!!
Every GD MSM outlet in this country is bought and paid for with OUR TAX DOLLARS. Ya think the loud-mouths like Gannom or whatever on QR is objective? They’re all on ‘the take.’
