  3. The court even stayed it’s own decision pending the outcome of an expected SCOTUS appeal. Not only corrupt and sleazy, but cowardly as well.

  5. Judges are never accountable for their decisions. What percentange of successfully appealed decisions should be necessary to require a Judge to “retrain”? 20%? 30?

    1. Ironically … my professional license MANDATES that I PROVE continuing education … in a very specific topic … else I won’t get my license renewed. And TBH the work I do puts far fewer people at any sort of risk than do Judges.

    2. Successfully appealed is actually really low. The majority of cases appealed to SCOTUS or state Supreme courts aren’t even heard.

      However, of the small remainder of cases, a large percent are overturned.

    1. I was incorrect. There are only seven members of the Colorado Supreme Court. They are all Democrats, and the decision was 4-3.

      Three democrat justices thought the decision was bad.

    2. This will go badly for Democrats.

      First, CO is a heavy blue state that elected Biden by 14 points in 2020.

      Second, they will likely be humiliated by a 9-0 reversal at SCOTUS, with DeMarxists counting on a split decision.

      Three, DeMarxists are fully exposed as believing they cannot win in 2024 without using unelected partisans.

      Four, Red states can play tit for tat which if allowed could essentially ban Biden from red states and Trump from blue ones, which of course won’t happen, which only rabid radicals believe will, only proving their desperation.

      All over a Soros funded bunch of DeMarxist appointed fascists in robes desperate to decide the 2024 election.

  10. The are saying Trump violated Section 3 of the 14th Amendment…even though neither he or anyone else had been convicted much less charged with insurrection as it relates to Jan 6

    The state has no authority here. Section Five of the Fourteenth Amendment vests Congress with the authority to adopt “appropriate” legislation to enforce the other parts of the Amendment….not the state.

My understanding was that the law was put in place to prevent political and military leaders of the Confederacy from ever wielding political power after the Civil War, but in their case the insurrectionist angle was pretty obvious. If Trump is guilty of insurrection, then shouldn’t he be arrested, charged and tried by the state of Colorado (or whichever state believes there to be grounds for such a charge)? If found guilty, he could then struck off the ballot. Without a trial, the grounds for this ruling are extremely shaky.

    That said, what kind of crazy precedent is this going to create? Do these guys not think that Republican states are going to get very creative now that the door is open? It would only take one state to remove a candidate from the Presidential ballot to end their electoral chances in many cases.

  15. They’ll convict him in one or more of his court cases next. Try to imprison him, and also use that as a pretext to ban him from the ballots.

    Failing that, they’ll move to take him out. As in, assassination.

  16. It was a stupid move by whomever is pulling the strings (and make no mistake, the CSC got marching orders). This is like a paid advertisement for Trump. Colorado has the Biden disapproval up over 55% (after 538 played with the numbers a little…it was actually 59%). By this time tomorrow it will be over 60%. That’s unheard of for an incumbent running a re-election campaign. Biden’s approval numbers in Colorado are high 30 percentile. But, I’d be surprised if this latest escapade doesn’t lower it further.

    If Biden’s running, then Colorado is up for grabs. Although, I still don’t think he is running. And, I think the axe falls in the first week of January …with a little assistance from the court system. ;D

  21. Trump’s biggest mistake was thinking he lived in a republic.. The rule of law and the constitutions in both America and Canada have been compromised with politics that serve a very narrow interest..

    Its is time for the military to step up and set things right.. It is their sworn duty..

    1. The top officers in any military are appointed by the sitting government. All commanders are appointed by those in turn. Obama carried out a little purge of General Officers and Commanders so that the top brass are ideologically aligned with the Dems. Remember Milley, the Chairman of the JSC that called the Chinese behind Trump’s back? That lied about troop levels in the middle east? The Colonel who ratted on Trump to get him impeached for a phone call? That is the kind of military you are dealing with in the US and it has only gotten worse. I mean just look at the anti-white and woke indoctrination that has been pushed on the military in the past years. That last uncorrupted branch of government has now been corrupted. I’m not talking about the rank and file, but top leadership have their marching orders and if one person has a problem with it, they are replaced.

  22. There is great ballyhoo that the people who brought the case are Republicans. I haven’t even tried to verify this. Of course they forget to mention there is a competition for the candidcy. The real question is,who funded it? Would it perhaps be the same big money that has been thrown Nikki’s way? Far to big a leap of critical thinking for the average citizen. I would say these are very troubling times, but I believe it has been happening for a long time. I wonder how much longer we will have the illusion of democracy.

  24. All Presidential ballots in the U.S. have a write-it space where voters can write the name of any candidate they choose.
    Leaving Trump’s name off the ballot does not disenfranchise him.

    1. The court’s ruling also bars the Colorado secretary of state from counting any write-in votes for Trump.
