The Libranos: Money For Nothin

The Venezuela Effect: The secret to Trudeau’s hold on power is to flood the zone with so much incompetence and corruption that the nation surrenders in defeat.

Cabinet budgeted $37.4 million and spent a quarter of it on a gun buyback program without buying any guns, records show. Newly disclosed figures follow an internal Department of Public Safety report that warned the program was prone to “wasted time, energy and funds.”

  1. like the liberal tree planting program that has planted no trees

or the ground penetrating radar that has discovered no bodies

or the missing indigenous women , that havent found any women

    1. I’m waiting for a talking head to ask why they haven’t used Ground Penetrating Radar to find the bodies in the dump yet…

after all, it found so many bodies in the residential school properties…

  2. Hey, that’s fine- they pretend to “buy back” what they never owned, and I pretend to co-operate. Then the CPC pretends to fix the Firearms Act, and I pretend to vote for them.

Just another day of pretend sanity in Soviet Canuckistan, comrade. Damn the icebergs, full speed ahead!

  3. I remember the days when Andrew Coyne was outraged and thought it was the final nail in the coffin of our parliamentary democracy when Paul Martin once chose to prorogue parliament rather than face some embarrassing debate during Question Period. Those were the days…

  4. I doubt investigators ever follow the money trail far enough. Hoew 8much of all these Liberal program funds eventus;lly end up in Liberal Party (member?) bank accounts?

  5. It’s so frustrating! I have this worthless M-1 carbine that no firearms owner in their right mind would ever buy and I’ve been waiting years for the government to buy the useless piece of junk — but no: promises, promises, promises. I’m still stuck with the damn thing!

  6. They can buy (not back FO) my semi-auto .22 for 1 million USD.
    And not a penny less.
The semi-auto 9mm with two 10 round pistol mags goes for 5 million.
But the semi-auto .223 with five 10 round pistol mags isn’t for sale.
