Given that the trans lobby is so vocal and active, the CPU might think the majority of Canadians support transwomen competing in the women’s division. They might be surprized at the blowback.

Awesome!!! More of this, please. Many of you are familiar with the story out of Massachusetts where a male playing on the girl’s field hockey team knocked all the front teeth out of a female player. The law in Massachusetts is that if there is no male team available, males can play on the female team. This law reflects six decades of hardcore feminism saying that males and females are intrinsically equal in all ways. I’d like to see a completely male contingent form a high school softball team such that, even though, it is labeled “girl’s softball”, there wouldn’t be a single female on the entire team. That would be fantastic.
Why? Because if these jackasses continuously persist in pushing their asinine delusions, the only way it gets rectified if enough people finally say “ENOUGH.” Currently, there are a significant number of parents and students who virtue signal along their indifferent support for this nonsense. They read stories like this in the paper or online and shrug because it isn’t effecting them personally….yet. I want it to effect them. I want them to have to make a choice. If the mentality of “victim” is so engrained in their souls that they let it continue so as to be able to claim “victim status”…so be it. They get what they deserve. There will be collateral damage to those girl athletes who don’t subscribe to male participation. Well, they are just going to have to make some noise rather than letting it continue.
How about if 2 high schools had all male, women’s softball teams? And then they played each other?

Well, I’ve played hockey for over 40 years. And in many leagues, if there are no female teams available, they force men’s teams to accept females. Same in soccer. You ever played hockey with a girl on your line? It’s like playing with only 4 players. Plus, you have to be very careful not to hurt them accidentally (it’s no contact hockey, but there isn’t such a thing, really). Now that there are female leagues, some of the girls still play in male leagues that allow it, for more ice time and more challenge. And still play in the women’s leagues. (And if you play hockey and don’t wear a mouthguard, get a clue)
Having men in women’s sports is unfair to women. But having women in mens’s sports is also unfair and dangerous. In the meantimes, I’ll just say to the bodybuilders “what’s a matter, you feel threatened by strong women? Can’t handle a stong woman?” because that’s what we’re told when we oppose women in men’s sports.
When I was a sophomore in college I played on the tennis team. It was a Div II team with a solid history of success, but nothing too special. I was the #4 player. One weekend I was invited to a local tennis club to participate in an exhibition. The club had some connections and brought in some professional women’s players as part of the USTA (United States Tennis Association) efforts to drum up interest in tennis.
When I got there I found out that I would be playing an exhibition set against Hana Mandlikova. If you’re not familiar with the name…just know that she won four Grand Slam titles (before and after I played her). She held her highest ranking of #3 in the World just the year before.
I beat her 6-1. The one game she got I tanked because I felt bad about all these people coming out to see her, and some college kid bageled her. Her publicist was not happy, and they asked that I not hang around the event afterwards. On a side note, Hana was absolutely great. She took it in stride and even took some time to chat with me as well as provide some advice on playing the circuit (which I did for a couple years after college).
My point is this. Even those of us who acknowledge that men will beat and outclass women in just about every sport, don’t do justice to just how far apart the sexes are in performance. It’s not even close…not even in the same zip code. It’s why I find these examples so outright ludicrous.
The difference in boxing is just as stark. I’ve sparred with a woman who went on to win multiple world titles (Jamie Clampitt). It was quite even, despite me being just a long-time recreational boxer.

I am looking forward to see trans in olympic hockey. That would actually make women’s hockey interesting. There are a LOT of egos in a female olympic team, and also people of a certain sexual orientation that don’t like men, but absolutely despise trans. Women in some sports often regard rules as suggestions and if you think men play dirty, just watch women’s olympic hockey. Try this shit on somebody a foot taller than you. Just go ahead. Anyways, there are only 2 teams in women’s hockey, the US and Canada. Who will be the first to field a trans? Imagine a 6 foot 2 center standing in the crease and daring anybody to move xir. Or a defense that likes to play a little rough in the corners. Ever seen a real slapshot in women’s hockey? Now you will. This will happen unfortunately and a few women will need to be carted out in the meat wagon before sanity resumes. Women’s hockey has a good lobby, so they should be able to exert some pressure. Display the insanity in a popular sport where women have power and exposure and lets see where that goes.
This is becoming embarrassing to the people in charge, in view of the stuff going on elsewhere in the world. It’s flat-out cheating, nothing more or less.
Seriously, what is it going to take? All your competitors have to walk out? Eventually, they will. No intelligent woman is going to work that hard, for that long, and have her achievements wiped away by a cheater.
I can recall many years ago when everyone celebrated the introduction of girls in boys hockey and how wonderful it was . Celebrate as you wish but now we have a third rail to deal with . It was bullshit then and bullshit now . Have a nice day .
Girls in boys hockey: The girls have fun, expecially when they reach puberty, years earlier than the boys. Then they really rule. Go Grrrl! Then the boys reach puberty and the fun stops right there for them.
A friend of mine was a very agressive player and his brat girl was no different. Liked to bully the boys. When she was 15, things started to turn around. The boys could hit back, and they did because she was a dirty player. She got away with it all this time because the league did nothing. It’s OK, boys should learn to be bullied and humiliated, builds character, right? She transited to the girls league after that, she saw the writing on the wall.
We had a chick forced onto our soccer team in the 70’s FFS. (I think I was 12.)

During a game I remember her getting hit in the face with a ball and she took it pretty good until it happened again soon after, lol and that was the end of Jenny
We had one in university soccer in 1985 -ish. She was a trooper, I liked her, good attitude and she showed up for practice and games. But she was in over her head. The important thing here though, is attitude. She didn’t think she was god’s gift or spout feminist crap. She just wanted to play soccer and there was no women’s league.

I don’t recall or care what happened “legally” just that they wanted something that wasn’t theirs, that they weren’t entitled to and that they just had to start their own – maybe call it The Beach House.
Sorry. I have already established my official stance on men pretending to be women in Sport. Billie Jean King. She famously mopped the court with some sorry excuse for an old man named Bobby Riggs. Hence; women athletes aren’t just “equal” but they’re BETTER than men. So … I. Don’t. Care.

In the 80’s I was in an all male service club. We reveled in and bonded through juvenile locker room humour and worked hard to raise money for good causes.
Got the marching orders from headquarters to integrate women into the club. It was a traumatic experience that destroyed the morale of the club. “Normal” women didn’t want to join. We got ball-busters who needed to make some kind of a point that had nothing to do with the objectives of the organization. People seem to not give a shit about the damage they cause.
Sad.
This was not a good plan to meet hot women….
