This is a sue and settle attempt, with Weiss playing the patsy of “there was a consent decree and I had to follow it” when he drops the charges.
The purpose of the lawsuit is to tie up evidence and limit the negative exposure the Democrats want hidden until after election day, if ever.
A lot of people following this believe that Weiss is purposely going soft on Hunter, I’m not in that camp. Another line of reasoning is that Hunter flipped before he forgot to pick up his laptop (absolutely filled with incriminating evidence against Joe) and the latest charges against him are part of deal he made. I think Weiss is a white hat, time will tell all. When you see Trump attacking guys like Weiss, Bill Barr etc, think Kayfabe (fake fude)
Weiss was behind the plea deal that give Hunter almost unlimited immunity including against future charges for conduct not covered by the current charges, and tried to hide it from the judge… that’s not the actions of someone who would be considered a “white hat”

Things get much more interesting a week from this Thursday. The Biden family members have received subpoenas to appear before the congressional committee to testify on where the hell they all got so much scratch in their bank accounts (inclusive of two grandchildren sitting on seven figures).
It will be fun to see how they spin it. IMO it will be side choosing time for the Democrat party. Do they toss Joe to the wolves, or do they ride it out? I think they’re going to 86 him and you are going to start hearing a whole lot more chatter about Michele Obama.
