Canada is currently spending 1.38% of GDP in constant dollars, though 24.4% of that is on equipment. Prior to the Covid fiasco, Canada was spending closer to 10% on equipment, and varying rates of actual spending between 1.4% and 1.2% of GDP

Also, note that Canada includes military pensions in this % of GDP spending, even though this is specifically prohibited by NATO’s agreements. Not meeting an agreement is no biggie for Canada though.
