  1. We’re NOT a Democracy … we’re a Constitutional Republic.

Why don’t the writers at The NYT understand this? They’re supposedly educated better than me … and way more “educated” than you.

    1. There is a story, often told, that upon exiting the Constitutional Convention Benjamin Franklin was approached by a group of citizens asking what sort of government the delegates had created. His answer was: “A republic, if you can keep it.”

      It wasn’t kept.

    2. The NYT has had a history of supporting anti-democratic countries overseas. Examples: reporter Walter Durranty’s support of the Soviet Union’s genocide of thr Ukraine population, the NYT’s support for Hamas against democratic Israel. The newspaper represents the dark side against Karl Popper’s open society. Thus their “Elections are Bad for Democracy” drivel.

    3. No one “works’ at the NY Times.

Poorly written propaganda is not news and there is rarely any “reporting.”

  2. The New York Times and the Atlantic belong to the Sir Humphrey Appleby school of government.

  3. In the last day or 2, I saw a tweet from the WEF with Nazi boy Klaus stating that elections should be eliminated and AI should be used to pick winners. I guess the word has gone out, the people can’t be trusted to vote for whoever our elites want. Trump must have been a real kick in the nads for our Nazi overlords.

  4. Cancelled or rigged. What difference does it make? The Administrative State and media’s selected favorite will not be allowed to lose again. Meanwhile, behind the scenes …
