This post is inspired by the successful efforts last week of climate activists — including three widely-cited scientists — to enforce misinformation by the legacy media. In a nutshell, ABC News wrote an accurate story about how climate was not a major or even significant factor in the Lahaina, Maui fire and disaster. After being mobbed by the enforcers, the story was changed to emphasize the role of climate. These sort of activist scientists who seek to enforce preferred public narratives have been called the “science police.”
Today’s post pushes back against this narrative enforcement with some actual science. Have a look at the panel below. It shows three versions of a climate time series for annual counts of North Atlantic major hurricanes from 1995 to 2050. Two of the graphs include a large change in climate, one of them does not.

No need to convince me. I no longer believe a single word the climate cultists utter. Including the ‘a’ and the ‘the’.
They are right when they refer to us as heretics. But not many are self-aware enough to use that term.
Interesting. After reading I see he’s advocating viewing their actions in the same way as I am below.
Here are 3 Respected Climate Scientists, or heretics pointing out the Hoax that is climate change.

If you believe that in any way less than 1/2 of 1/10 of 1% of CO2 in the Earth’s atmosphere will cause our Earth to become uninhabitable boiling ball. Then you’re a moron.
Right on -next to nothing as an atmospheric percentage
Yup, if they make their religion key to every story, make sure you publicly dismiss them as religious zealots.
Some of the “smarter” ones will say that it’s science, that that’s when they’ll have to engage on actual science. Appeals to a “greater power” like The Mann or the ICPP (I know that’s a typo, but I like this sound better) can then be referred back to as religious (not that there’s anything wrong with religion, just recognize that it is one) and insist they talk actual data and falsification criteria. And if it can’t be falsified then it’s not science, it’s religion.
Pluto is not a planet. It is, in fact, a dwarf planet.
This is an example of two things. 1. Impressionable students will regurgitate that which is taught them as “fact”. 2. The science is never truly settled.
Eventually, those skeptical that climate change is a result of man’s actions will die. While this occurs, those younger generations who are being force fed information on climate change not necessarily reflective of fact and accuracy such as the above will VASTLY outnumber the contrary. This is a forgone conclusion. I hope not to be here when it reaches the tipping point.
Pluto is a planet. It is one of the class of planets called “dwarf planets”, because the people that live on them are small and grumpy. If it were not a planet, it would not be called a “dwarf planet”, but a “dwarf otherthing”.
A watched climate doesn’t boil.
The human brain hasn’t changed much since the stone age. It is hard wired to react to stimuli like fear, envy, greed, peer pressure, etc. The mantra that “Climate Change is responsible for all bad weather events” is an new iteration of an old story.
Primitive Man : the weather is bad. The gods are angry. Human sacrifice is necessary to appease the gods.
Medieval Man : the weather is bad. God is angry. Burn the witches in the name of the Lord.
Modern Man : the weather is bad. Gaia/ Mother Earth is angry. Destroy the economy (and let the 99% suffer) to save the planet.
The Science of today sure mimics religions of the past. My my, look how much we have evolved and progressed as a species.
Yep and no matter what the latest panic is, the answer is more power and money to the government and “experts”. They call us fascists and support every single aspect of a fascist (administrative) state. Alas.
