  1. They’re trying to throw him off message. You’ll see it lots, questions designed to drive him away from his base, reframe the campaign and focus on social issues. Don’t bite on it, it’s what they want.

    1. Entirely right. Pierre’s calm rejoinder blew her out of the water. He knows better that all of us not to give in to harrassment from the bought and paid for scum in the legacy media.

      Handling the Ceeb is not difficult but it needs discipline. I had a number of unpleasant encounters with Ceeb reporters and producers in the 1990s. What I learned was never, never give in to what they want. It is never your interests or goodwill that they are interested in helping. And since Justatwit’s takeover, they’ve only gotten worse, far, far worse.

    1. Ahh… sadly now far-right means anyone that doesn’t fall in line behind the current meadua and government. It means ordinary people working ordinary jobs raising ordinary families on ordinary salaries. Anybody that is against extra ordinary taxes and extra ordinary inflation and extra ordinary medical procedures or requirements. It means honk honk and bang bang. So yes, he’s dog whistling to ordinary Canadians.

      I remember when Mulroney pulled a fast one on the arch-creep Craig Oliver (canoe bud of prime-creep Trudeau Sr.). The Trudeau-loving senior CTV political correspondent Oliver really got under Mulroney’s skin. At some big political announcement, I can’t remember what it was, Mulroney’s response to the failed Meech Lake Accords or something similar, Mulroney somehow got Oliver to think the press event would take place somewhere other than the real location. By the time Oliver found out he’d been hoodwinked, the palatial room in which Mulroney was speaking had it big doors closed shut and locked. The press conference was live, so everyone could hear Oliver banging on the doors and cursing a blue streak. Mulroney had to acknowledge the racket: “someone’s been working too hard, he sounds overwrought.” Mulroney was then and remains to this day a first class a-hole, but you gotta admit, that was funny…you couldn’t have locked out a more deserving press thug.

    The CBC and the Rest just make shit up anyway.
    If somebody on the “far right” agrees with PP, then the MSM view that as an approved endorsement.
    Its nothing new, they did that with Trump.
    They do it with DeSantis as well.

    She can’t admit to herself, let alone anyone else that she’d just been taken to the cleaners, yet in her little mind, she’ll go on thinking that she gotcha’d PP!

    His challenge to her question was immediate. She was unable to provide evidence to support her allegations. She had no ‘experts’. Her question was specious. Journalism needs fewer people like her and I suspect she sealed her fate as a journalist with that stupid question.
    It’s unlikely we will be seeing her any time soon.
