The Libranos: Man The Lifeboats

Jay Currie;

The odds are shortening on Trudeau calling a Fall election. Cabinet shuffle tomorrow, Ministers announcing they will not be running, Trudeau storming through the Liberal backyards of the nation.

I expect Trudeau will use his usual tactic of running against something. Last time it was the unvaccinated. This time my bet is that he’ll run against “Alberta and Big Oil”, “American Tech Giants” and the unCanadian protestors showing up to heckle him.

The Liberal war room will run what amounts to a 150 seat campaign. Metro Toronto, Ilse de Montreal, very select Lower Mainland seats. It won’t be running to gain a majority, rather the focus will be on maximizing the efficiency of its vote.

There will be a serious attempt to “monster” @PierrePoilievre as the heir to Harper and as Trucker and Trump adjacent. That won’t come directly from Lib-HQ, rather it will emerge from the various “activist” communities the Libs have cultivated.

Because his economy turning is not yet done.

  1. I don’t think it’ll work this time. I talked to a coworker the other day who lives in suburban Toronto and is an Indian immigrant and he’s off the trudope train bigly. If you’ve lost guys like him it’s over. He brought it up too because I never let it out of the bag that I’m a conservative since I don’t want to get fired.

    Whatever happens don’t be a loser and sit at home and complain. If you want scumbag lunatic kiddie diddling hair lisp gone you need to not only vote but you need to volunteer.

  2. I seriously hope they run on being against Alberta and Saskatchewan and everything we stand for.

    Embolden those fence sitters, schedule a separation referendum for early 2024

    DO_NOT negotiate this from a position of weakness, they’ll have lost their easy access to the Pacific.

  3. Well, I incorrectly called Jag pulling the plug in June. I’m not sure who I dislike more, PM or Jag. All we need is a non-confidence vote. Trudeau shouldn’t be calling anything at all.

    1. Dogmeat Singh’s pension doesn’t vest until 2025. I suspect Trudeau serves a full 4 years.

  4. 2 strangers end up talking in an airport

    person 1 : what do you do?
    person 2: I’m a truck driver. How about yourself, what do you do?
    person 1: I’m a cabinet minister for the Liberal Party of Canada. Please don’t tell my mother, she thinks I’m a piano player in a whorehouse.

  5. Me thinks the jagging his meat lost much of his own constituency!
    They are a lot of truckers, and supported the truck protest, but jagging his meat supported the TurD’Ho.

  6. Many Liberal supporters will switch to the NDP.

    I predict Conservatives win the most seats, but don’t get enough for a majority.

    Justin will then form a minority government and rely on support from the NDP and the Bloc.

    1. My seat predictions
      CPC = 158
      Lib = 90
      NDP = 45
      PQ = 43
      Greens = 2

      So Libs, NDP, and PQ would hold 178 seats, giving Trudeau five more years.

      1. A coalition with the traitors would be the end of the Lieberal party.

        Trudope will definitely continue his corrosive, divisive strategy.
        Sneering at Alberta is good politics for him, but horrible for the country.
        His followers in the Lower Rainland, the 406 and Queerbec will bark like trained seals and sneer accordingly.
        Didn’t someone once say A CANADIAN IS A CANADIAN IS A CANADIAN?

      2. I predict a Liberal win.

        Dominion machines can’t be wrong as last two questionable elections showed both sides of the border.
        Same happened in Calgary

        1. Domion voting machines don’t count federal votes in Canada. DRO’s and scrutineers at each poll handcount them.

        2. You need to come to grips with the idea that yes 2/3 of this country’s voters are all in the Liberals and NDP. Also 2/3 of CPC voters aren’t as “conservative” as you might imagine. It can be terrifying at first.

  7. If Trudeau were to call an early election, Jagmeet would be furious over the betrayal of their deal. After all, an early election would mean a loss of his gold-plated pension. In such a scenario, Jagmeet would end up doing the dirty work for the CPC by going after Trudeau tooth and nail, leaving Pierre free to focus on his message of economic revitalization. I say bring it on!

    1. Trudeau’s such an a-hole he’d delightfully plunge the knife into jag meats back with his trademark smirk. He’s going to do it and soon.

  8. The NDP website us nothing but Jerkmeat complaining about Trudeau, but for some reason he just won’t budge on an election.

  9. One of the many aces in Trudope’s pocket right now is the heat wave sweeping across North America . His obedient whore media are ramping up the fear factor as they did during china flu fiasco. They will pound it into their brain dead constituency that Trudope is the only answer to the existential threat of climate change . If things go south in the next election and I fear they might , a serious change is imperative. Hopefully the good people of western Canada will set in motion an exit strategy with bags packed .

        1. Easy to cheat hand counting. There is no way to determine whether the ballot is legitimate or not

          Ballots need to have serial numbers

          1. There’s no mass fraud in Canada. Go work an election and realize how boring and straight forward it all is.

            Liberals win because democracy plays to lowest common denominator and people are dumb and easily sold by big media and social cues.

          2. Nonsense!
            Follow Jeff’s advice, get off your butt and work an election as a scrutineer.

          3. Seconding Jeff’s comment – go work as a scrutineer for whatever party you like and you’ll see how it works and how difficult it is to scam this very simple system.

  10. Why give up 2.3 years of power?

    The cabinet shuffle is optics to reset the failures. Nothing will happen.

  11. Oh goodie…can’t wait for Poilievre to tack on another 500 ft. to the Toronto Island airport. Yeah, baby!!! That’s what I’m talkin’ about.
    Meet the new WEF guy, folks…same as the old WEF guy.
    Same shit different day. Country is totally effed just let it flow through you.

  12. If Trudeau goes for the anti-Alberta anti-petroleum platform schtick, it’ll be about the 10th time for the Liberals. Hating on Alberta while gleefully accepting their equalization payments never gets old in central Canada.

  13. I’m thinking “Big Oil, Climate Apocalypse and the American Far-Right Racist Disinformation machine” myself.

  14. Sorry. Can’t see it. Too many need to get their pensions.

    And the kicker^^^^^(Jeff dude is a smart guy). Why give up 2.3 years of power? Trudope will stick around and retire before he looses the next election.

    Just my 78 cents.

  15. Can’t wait for Maxipads to traditionally do all they can to reelect Potato because uniparty.

  16. And the broke-as-fudge NDP, after taking a third variable rate mortgage on the Broadbent building, will enter into another Jagsupply and confidence agreement, and yet again getting no cabinet seat as a reward for their confidence or supply.

  17. Conservative operators can’t stomach a run against carbon tax and against saving the planet, and the ending of oil. Nor can they run against the Indian handouts or the trans/pride brigade. Did I mention vax and masking? They don’t have the strength to take vicious heat from the left, which is still a minority.

    Although conservatives could gain a majority of support, Trudeau has made these issues a test of “niceness” which scares the decent moderate folks

    Say goodbye to your cars in 12 years, you pussies and your country shortly after.

  18. Calling an early election is a good strategy. If they lose they can dump the sorry mess on the CPC and bitch for 5 years. If they eek out a minority coalition government they can continue giving stuff away to every deadbeat until they drive the country bankrupt and Communist China can take over. Not a good scenario but many Canadians are too stupid and too happy to take scraps and handouts

  19. The polls don’t support an early call.

    I think the Bong, who is a very effective campaigner, wants to go head to head with PP. He will need a defining issue.

    Bongo has accumulated a lot of baggage over the past 8 years. A win is is not automatic.

  20. Wait.
    The lifeboats need a little work.
    Lead Lifejackets all round.
    Self diving vessels for them all.

    Who cares if the Bozo Confederation call an election?
    Can Ahh Duh is done.

    It does not matter who rules in Ottawa,we are at war with them all.
    The taxpayer has no friends or allies in that cesspit.

    Another silver lining from Dread Covid Theatre.
    All 338 are on the other team from life liberty and the pursuit of happiness..They all played for team State of Thuggery and they are still doing so.
    With such quality “representation” does voting even matter?

  21. I just hope that history repeats itself and conservatism blooms out of the dung of a failed socialist regime, as we experienced around 1980. But I am rather pessimistic seeing so many brainwashed people obviously buying into the globalist agenda. It cannot end well because it is a pack of lies and will fall apart at some point. And the people who got wealthy as a result will disappear with the money they make from the dupes. Not sure why I bother to say this to people who already know anyway.

    1. Some years ago someone ran the numbers and determined that just over 50% of the population of Ontario gets some or all of their income from some level of government (municipal, provincial, or federal). There’s no voting your way out of that.
