Not that reality has anything to do with the death of anyone, but I’d like to know a little about the character of the women who were murdered and possibly left in the dump.
Were these guiding lights of the community who met a foul end that was completely out of line with how they lead their life? As nobody has stepped forward with the usual, “she was a great mother” or “they really turned their life around”, I’m at a loss.
Statictically, people who get murdered, are typically engauged in risky lifestyles or activities. Drug adicts and prostitutes. Lots og gang members die young.
I didn’t realize that the study I keep hearing about was essentially done by a fan club of the Assembly of Chiefs looking for another federally/provincially funded cash cow being established. I have even less faith in it than I had before. An impress feat.
In a world that had a functioning media, this protest and the political three ring circus would have been dead before the story hit the ground but I guess we have to live with what we’ve got.
In Manitoba, the government union has also decided that now is the time to disrupt people as much as possible without endangering lives but holding a strike at the Liquor marts. An unholy union of NDP, Liberal, Union, Native and academics has got the microphone firmly in their hands and won’t be giving it up any time soon

I hope the bean counters are counting those beans because nobody is going to fall faster and harder than our left wing lunatics..
