  1. It’s a good response. What both the government and the opposition report ignores is that oil and gas are the principal exports from Canada to anywhere else in the world. They are the main reason why Canada as a whole has a functioning economy. The notion that any of this can be replaced by some energy transition is pure fantasy.

Stubbs keeps stating that Canadians should be asking the federal government various questions about how it intends to implement any of this or what the costs and consequences will be. It should be obvious by now that the federal government has no interest in doing this. It regards most Canadians as far too stupid to waste time on explanations.

And don’t waste time asking Justatwit anything serious. All of this is the doing of Katie Telford.

    1. The easiest way to destroy the competition and keep prices high is to buy politicians. Our competitors and enemies have figured that out. Better yet if they are ideologues and true believers in climate change and New World Order B.S. But I don’t think so. I think they are using this to further their power. An all-electric future with smart meters, social credit score, digital currency and information censorship are the chains waiting for us.

  2. Electric in ag makes sense. But like locomotives. Hydraulic for motor loads like air drill fans is very inefficient. Diesel will giveway to nuclear or the stone age, that’s it. Three choices. Diesel, nuclear, or stone age. H

    1. so true. unfortunately the feds only listen to green wackos, not real engineers or scientists

    2. Why does it make sense?

      Does it make sense anywhere?

How much more oil and gas does it take to manufacture and deliver electric?

      Tailings ponds, etc, ad infinitum.

      Show me the sense.

  3. I still don’t understand why Saudi oil is ok but Alberta oil is not. In Canada.

    1. Because the evil elites want to preserve western available energy for themselves. Keeping it blocked as much as possible, so they have a good supply inside western nations when they turn the west into their techno feudal fiefdoms, and us into either peasants to service their needs, run their organic farms, or to build their cars and planes, or turn us into mulch when they cull us. They don’t want us useless eaters burning through those critical supplies. JMHO.

  4. They Shoot Vegetarians Don’t They?
Ultimately, the “transition” in agriculture is likely to require a lot of mules and draft horses. The Climate Nutters will of course object to that, in the belief that equine farts will kill the climate; but horses and mules don’t have the same digestive system as bovines, so no belching. Whatever the outcome, regardless of its emissions profile, it will be wholly unacceptable to those demanding the end of civilization. (“You’re feeding all that hay to them horses? Don’t you know you should be feeding it to us self-righteous vegetarians instead? Stop that right now!”)
