“Ex-Mayor Lori Lightfoot” Is Not The Name Of A DC Comics Character

But it should be.

Harvard University has granted a fellowship in public health to former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who recently became the first Chicago mayor to lose a re-election bid in 40 years after a controversy-ridden tenure as the Windy City’s top boss.

In her role as the Menschel Senior Leadership Fellow, Lightfoot “will teach a course in the fall at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health,” the Ivy League institution recently announced.

The June 1 announcement lists several of Lightfoot’s achievements as mayor, such as leading the citywide response to the pandemic and creating a “Racial Equity Rapid Response Team.”

  1. With all the political academic staff appointments and affirmative action admissions, isn’t Harvard pretty much becoming a shithole? The strength of Harvard, dare I say the only strength, was the fact that a tiny sliver of the top percentile of students were accepted. The only stupid students were legacy rich kids from moron trophy wives and athletes. The point is now being reached that most students must be stupid and, being taught by Lori Lightfoot, will remain stupid.

  2. Let me guess … she will “teach” her pupils about how the MAGA mongoloids in Chicago conspired to destroy a proud lesbian ov culler.

  3. Harvard is a hedge fund ($5b revenue) that happens to run an University ($1.3B revenue) with a fund value of ~$20b

  4. Instead of Lightfoot teaching “a course in the fall at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health,”, teaching a course in the fall OF the Harvard Chan School would be nearer the descriptive mark.

  5. Hard to believe Harvard could sink any lower after they hired smega McGinty, but they’ve managed.
