Our current highway infrastructure cannot take the additional weight of electric busses…the tires too need to be much larger…
You thought pot holes are bad now…a fleet of busses certainly will show how wrong you are.
As many one here have pointed out, our current politicians haven’t a clue…spend huge amounts of money on the latest modern equipment only to find that they break in an extremely short time. Hopes of modernization will catch up to the massive amounts of spending and promises made.
Not having proper ‘engineering education’ as companies cheap out and our politicians buy everything they deemed new and modern.
Thousands being built before and after problems and breakage occurs…passenger jets with a balance problems as they didn’t take into consideration the additional weight changed it’s structural weight of balance…new electric buses framework fracturing too as they’re not including its additional weight to the current framework being used over time…using cheaper and lighter materials has generated fracturing problems after a few uses in the Military Equipment.
Unfortunately, the last 3+ years have given us a glimpse of what life under a technocracy would look like. Yeah…no thank you.
Does anyone have a viable solution? I certainly don’t.

I believe you’re speaking of the 737MAX. There’s actually nothing wrong with the MAX, and the difference that the new engines made to the flight characteristics was a known quantity. However, this difference meant that the MAX should have been treated as a brand new type of aircraft and certified accordingly, with the requisite pilot training. But that would have made the MAX less attractive to the bean counters in the airlines, because a bunch of pilots would need to be retrained, so Boeing sought to have it added to the existing 737 certification, and they managed to convince the FAA that the difference with the MAX’s handling characteristics compared to previous 737 models could be overcome with software. That turned out to be a really bad idea.

Yeah, I’ve never been clear on that either. I’m strictly heterosexual myself, but it has never occurred to me that I should be ‘proud’ (or ashamed?) of that fact.

MOST of the funding for rebuilding Notre Dame … after a Muslim “hero” torched it … is coming from small American donations. Yes … the French Govt. has pledged money to help rebuild the landmark … but with strings attached … Macron demands the cathedral be … well … less Christian …
Others, including French President Emmanuel Macron, hope construction will create something new, “an alliance of tradition and modernity, a respectful audacity.”
There is no evidence that Notre Dame was intentionally torched by a Muslim or anyone else.
How about the evidence for so many other Christian church burnings in France? Muslims. As they say … where there’s smoke … there’s fire. And the Muslims are pyromaniacs. Are YOU one of them too?
Regarding Britain’s trans Nazis
I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t know about or care about trying to figure out someone’s pronouns. So, I’ve decided to just refer to any pronoun-obsessed person as “sh!t-for-brains”.
It’s completely gender-neutral and totally avoids the problem of using the wrong pronoun. Just point that out to anyone who complains.
