1. If Democrats had good ideas they wouldn’t need to create a story.

   But a fat phony like Michael Moore will never understand the difference between representing the wishes of the people and winning elections.

2. There are a host of reasons as to why and how Hollywood lost it all. People watch movies to be entertained, not preached to. So the Hollywood hold on movie-making started to collapse the day that movies started preaching on wokeism and BLM agitation.

   Second, great movies were all about acting, bringing a character to life. Disneyfication has destroyed all that. Actors are irrelevant now. It’s all kabuki theatre done on bluescreen, wearing fake costumes with everything of significance done by special visual effects that has nothing to do with performance skills. It’s all about the skills of the computer graphics specialist.

   And because it’s only about special effects, plot and screen-writing don’t much matter. It doesn’t matter what stage skills an actor has. The vocabulary and spoken parts are all added in by computer mixing anyway.

   Ricky Gervais tore them a new one, and he happened to be correct. Hollywood now is a world excreted by the likes of Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein.

   1. I like British movies and television. It seems to me that the British actively help their young actors/actresses with their careers and plan for their middle years and later on in life. All the great Dames such as Maggie Smith, Judy Dench, Helen Mirren have been around since the early 60’s and I would suggest that their roles in their later years are actually better than when they were young.
      Once of my favorite movies (I will drop whatever I am doing to watch it) is from 1969, “Travels with my Aunt” with Maggie Smith, 2 British Actors and a black American actor. The book on which it is based, was written by Graham Greene and about every 10 years, I re-read it.
