  1. Thanks.
Sun has had a hazy late August kind of look to it the last few days. This explains that.

  2. It’s URGENT that the left “prove” global warming … it’s the only pathway to Communist global domination

  3. Remember a few years ago when Australia was experiencing record wildfires and every leftie was sure it was the fault of climate change and if we don’t de-industrialize immediately we’ll all burn to death! Didn’t one small leftie group get arrested and charged with setting over 100 of the fires?

    1. Yes. But you didn’t hear about that on the CBC … or any of our other journalistic jokes. It was non-stop climate change porn.

    2. And that was after the government banned the setting of controlled fires by farmers who had been clearing underbrush for 100 plus years. Clearing underbrush to prevent the catastrophic fires that ultimately resulted.

    3. There were Australian Firefighters accused and charged with lighting forest fires!

Handy website to visualize why it smells like the neighbours have been using their fire pit for a week, straight:

  4. Who’s going to pay the carbon tax on all of the CO2 and black carbon that’s been released? Can we hold the federal government responsible?

    1. Shit. When has the federal gov’t ever been responsible? Not in my lifetime.

  5. Ret. water bomber engineer here, many times pilots returned from a dispatch telling of seeing fires being started. Remarkable how may started when the ex was in town.

    1. Now the quiet part is being said out loud. Back in the 1970’s, local Indian reserves would set fires so that they would be hired to put them out. But as usual, the fires got out of control and the reserves would have to be evacuated. Then they would demand big money from the federal government to make their lives “whole” again.
I know that sounds cynical but after almost 50 years of this nonsense, I have very little faith in any government or any news from the media.
