I’m Not Eating Bugs And I’m Not Eating Chicken-19

They’ll do for chicken what they did for coronavirus;

GOOD Meat’s filing reveals the China-linked firm JOINN is integral to the production and quality control of the newly-licensed cultivated chicken. The company, founded in 2018 as an offshoot of its parent JOINN Laboratories, has a facility not far from Eat Just’s headquarters in San Francisco.

According to the filing, “JOINN Biologics US Inc (CA, USA) currently produces the chicken cells in a dedicated manufacturing suite” in Richmond, California. The filing goes on to describe how “the cells harvested at JOINN Biologics are frozen for shipment without cryopreservation agents to locations where the finished meat food products are prepared.” In addition to manufacturing the chicken, JOINN is responsible for ensuring the raw materials it is produced from are of a suitable quality and “food safety risks from potential adventitious agents or other contaminants” are mitigated.

Chinese Biowarfare.

JOINN Biologics made national headlines in 2022 when it bought 1,400 acres of land in Morriston, Florida at a cost of $5.5 million, to build a new primate quarantine and breeding facility to expand the parent company’s existing lab-animal-breeding operations. The purchase was one of the largest single purchases of American real estate by a Chinese company to date.

News of the purchase led to the revelation that JOINN, like most Chinese companies, has extremely close ties to the Chinese government and its biowarfare program.

  1. I’m getting to the point where if they outlaw real meat, I’d rather hunt down the WEF and other eco freaks and see how human tastes.

    1. Based on accounts of people who have been around humans being burned up, you should expect be them to taste similar to pork.

  2. I thought roosters and hens were quite efficient at producing chickens. Guess I was wrong. sarc I get it now, if we eat all the bugs that they want to force on us, then there won’t be any to feed the chickens, therefore they need to make fake chicken meat.

  3. The true horrors of cultivated meat need to be exposed. When people talk about cultivating insects for food, or creating “cultured” meat replacements, the question you have to ask is “what is the raw material?”. What do the bugs eat? What nutrients do you culture the cells in? Where does it come from?

    There’s a reason these companies are vague about the details.

    The harvesting of “Fetal Bovine Serum” used to culture cells from the beating hearts of calves in their mother’s womb during slaughter is far more cruel than simply killing chickens. The cultivation of immortal cell lines in steel tanks will inevitably lead to people consuming masses of cancerous tumours. This isn’t about health, or about preventing animal cruelty.

    Rather, this is a hideous scheme to eliminate small-hold farmers and to make millions of consumers dependent on centralized food production facilities. The fact these things places are more horrifying than any slaughterhouse, and the end product is dangerous is of no consequence to the people creating them.

  4. Sorry. I’m not eating ANY cells grown in Richmond, CA … do your own research … Richmond is a shithole.

  5. Weird Al Yankovic told us, “that’s not chicken in your chicken chow mein.”
