  3. Something has smelled “off” about the Trudeau Liberals for quite some time. The putrid stench of corruption has been overpowering since the WE scandal and the SNC scandal. The question is why didn’t the Ottawa based journalists smell this bullshit sooner? And why is Singh allowing this stinker of a government to smear their piles of excrement over the NDP?

Can you imagine working for CSIS knowing the regime doesn’t care one wit about keeping Canadians or Chinese Canadians safe in Canada?

The Globe and Mail story only alleges that “China’s intelligence agency was seeking information about an unnamed Canadian MP’s relatives ‘who may be located in the PRC’”. A former director of CSIS thinks that what China was doing “may not have been ‘particularly aggressive.’”

    This really is the story of the century, and certainly not just a way of drawing our attention away from the Trudeau Foundation and the consulate in Toronto.

        This goes back to at least the Chretien Ministry.

        Back when Black owned the National Post, there was a screaming headline front page above the fold in the weekend edition that claimed a CSIS leaker provided details of an internal security analysis about Chinese government influence across the country and within the government. Information about the analysis had been leaked, because, apparently, the Chretien government suppressed it. The story was a sensational flash in the pan.

        I suppose few people remember something like this that happened over 23 years ago, but it does prove Canada has been in the thrall of the mainland Chinese for a long, long time. Remember Maurice Strong was long sequestered in China, and Chretien (along with Power Corp.) started frequent high level “trade missions” to China. Which subsequent PMs also continued.

          Remember how the media trumpeted those “Team Canada” trade missions that Chretien claimed were a win-win? We would benefit from accessing the Chinese market while exposing them to western values of rights and freedoms. Of course, in reality it meant sending our manufacturing and intellectual property to them. Also, instead of changing their political culture, the Chinese must have sniffed out how pathetically easy it was to corrupt our leaders and have them bend to their values. What we’re seeing now is the culmination of how effective the Chinese were and conversely, what unprincipled quislings we have leading us.

  10. I have a pet theory. It’s stupid, but it often comes to mind when I see Canadian politicians look like they’re engaged in sheer bloody-minded treason.

    So Trudeau senior cozied up to the Soviet Union and other communists. Canada maintained ties to the Soviet Union, including trade and commercial travel. Other western countries likely did so as well, but I admit that I do not know to what extent. But I have often wondered if Pierre Trudeau’s pose as an intellectual and ideological ally was intended to give the west a back door into the USSR and other states — western intelligence agents could likely travel to the USSR with far less suspicion under Canadian papers than, say, US or GB papers. I admit that this is a simplistic view and that I am perhaps naive — but could Canada have played the role of commie stooge back then to provide the west with some form of cover for intelligence and infiltration operations?

    Now consider Trudeau junior, appearing to be completely — or in reality is completely — owned by China. Consider the Chinese infiltration into government, business, and academia. Might it be possible that this is a ruse through which the west can deliver misinformation and industrial and R&D sabotage? Trudeau plays the role of cheaply-bought-and-paid-for sycophant to make China less suspicious of whatever it is they are getting out of the west via Canada? I mean, I look at Trudeau and listen to him and think that no man — no peoplekind — could possibly be that stupid: that idiot act has to be a front for something.

    Occam’s Manscaping Implements say that both Trudeaus were and are traitors. One did what he did and the other is doing what he’s doing for personal power and financial reward. They are evil. But some part of me — perhaps the part that specializes in Denial — wants to believe that maybe, just maybe, there’s more going on here and that the True Truth cannot be revealed lest it jeopardize a very serious game.

    And as long as I’m hallucinating this hard so early in the evening, another edible washed down with a Gin Fizz would not be too much at all, would it?
