Anyone who uses the word, “consensus”, regarding science is not using science. Period. Science is not determined by a show of hands.

The same “scientific consensus” that thought it was swell to detonate nuclear weapons in the atmosphere and everywhere else for twenty years after being paid by the military. Just one example of those who pay the piper call the tune.
