Wow even from a cursory read of the live tweet it’s obvious that PET foundation reeks of shenanigans. It stinks to high heaven.

Once upon a time, strongly-worded editorials would be printed in The daily papers. I’d take this issue more seriously if the usual breathless hacks weren’t so damned disingenuous about it.
It wasn’t “her property”. It was capital assets (like the laptop and phone) she was issued by her employer. When you leave a company, you have to return the company’s property. And if you are given company assets you are bound by the Acceptable Usage Policy, which always includes a “no non-business use and any use of the asset may be monitored or audited” clause.
Andy Lee’s attempts to obfuscate the issue are even more embarrassing. That paragraph is talking about employee personal communications from their own personal devices on company time/property, not communications made using a company asset.
I know that soi-disant conservatives are just pig-ignorant about technology but five minutes of research would help you not embarrass yourselves in public.
