Today, Equality Florida took the extraordinary step of issuing a travel advisory, warning of the risks posed to the health, safety, and freedom of those considering short or long term travel, or relocation to the state. The move comes in response to a wave of safety inquiries Equality Florida has received following the passage of laws that are hostile to the LGBTQ community, restrict access to reproductive health care, repeal gun safety laws, foment racial prejudice, and attack public education by banning books and censoring curriculum.
Presumably those who would abide by the travel advisory are people you wouldn’t choose to associate with in the first place.

We are on our way home after five months in Florida. I never knew we were in such danger – but we will chance it next winter. What a bunch of bullshit – I’ve never felt unsafe there. Then again, I’m not of that gender persuasion (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).
By staying away, the people the travel advisory is aimed at are helping make Florida a more pleasant place for everyone else.

1) How many alphabet people have been shot in Florida just because they are one of the alphabet people?
Off the top of my head, I’d guess it’s somewhere close to zero, and your chances of being shot in Florida are much lower than in Chicago, NY, New Orleans, Baltimore, Philly, Detroit, Atlanta, and a few other Blue cities.
2) How many alphabet people need reproductive health care in Florida. Let’s see the data.
Off the top of my head, I’d say that number is also close to zero anywhere. By definition, except for the ‘B’s (bisexuals) the sex practices in question don’t permit reproduction. Why is it an issue? Oh wait… men can get pregnant. [EYEROLL] Suuuure… uh-huh… just keep believin’ that…
Which raises another question. What state has higher numbers of obstetricians who specialize in male pregnancies than Florida? Let’s see the data.
3) What States have banned all the classic American literature, for example, Tom Sawyer, but promote porno for kiddies in grade school? How many adult bookstores has Florida shuttered? Let’s see the data.
Huh?!? I don’t recall Florida banning any porn. They have just banned it in schools. There are still adult bookstores all over the place, same as any other State. Come on down, alphabet people. Support the local adult bookstores while you’re on vacation.
