Our Chinese-Installed Government In Ottawa

Two Canadian politicians promised in a letter to the Chinese government to support “the great motherland”

Canadian Senator Victor Oh (胡子修) and Ontario former MPP and current deputy-mayor of Markham Michael Chan (陈国治) signed their names in a letter to a Chinese local government, pledging their continued support to the “great motherland”, according to a Chinese-language website in Canada.

As reported by CCmedia.news, the letter was written on April 10, 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic as a reply to a sympathy letter (‘sympathy letter’) from two governmental officials in P.R. China’s Jiangsu Province (江苏省) two weeks earlier (on March 27, 2020).

The reply letter (‘reply letter’) was written on behalf of all the members of the Jiangsu Commerce Council of Canada (JCCC,加拿大江苏国际商会), a non-profit in Canada where Victor Oh and Michael Chan serve as honorary chairmen.

Thus, there are two letters involved here: the sympathy letter from the Chinese government to the JCCC; and the reply letter from the JCCC to the Chinese government. Below are the summary of the sympathy letter and the English translation of the full text of the reply letter. The translation was achieved by DeepL Translator and Google Lens with minor editing.

  1. Treason? Here let me try PET. There I think I have it. Also, an alternate spelling would be LIBERAL.

  2. What this country of Canada needs to do in order to make immigrants into real Canadians is to put an absolute end to any and all immigration to Canada for the next hundred years. Absolutely zero immigration for a minimum of 100 years and for some immigrant groups even longer

  3. Victor Oh represents the Conservative Party in the Senate and was appointed by Stephen Harper. This rot infects both Major Parties and I would be shocked if the NDP wasn’t up to it’s eyeballs in this as well. We need a Public enquiry with a Commissioner of impeccable credentials with the full power of CSIS to find out how far the rot goes. Anyone remotely involved needs to be banned from public office for life. Anyone who is working against the interest of Canada should be charged with treason. If we don’t stop the rot it’ll infect every aspect of our political and civil life.

Federally, you can’t stop the rot. It’s too deep. It’s one big Uniparty and you ain’t in it. Long past time for certain provinces to leave.

  4. We sincerely invite you to lead a delegation to visit Canada after the epidemic is over, so as to further promote the friendship between China and Canada and promote high-level, multi-angle and close economic, trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Canada, especially between Jiangsu Province and Ontario.

We will, as always, support and participate in the construction of the great motherland and contribute to the high-quality development of Jiangsu!

Congratulations on well-being! And say hello to the people of your hometown!

  5. Remember – this is the result of voting in both Trudeaus and trading with this dump called China.

  6. Every Canadian has unthinkingly uttered the words “we stand on guard for thee” at some point. When Chinese people talk about “the motherland” it’s kind of the same thing. I’d be more inclined to view this as some kind of smoking gun if there weren’t other items on Found In Translation with titles like “Charlie Chan’s Neighbor’s Cousin Once Said He Likes China”.
