  1. Funny how these defund movements always focus on local cops, and never on, say, the FBI.

    1. That’s the whole plan. Defund the local cops, create a huge mess, and then bring in the feds to “clean up” the mess.
Of course, the mess never gets cleaned up – that’s not the purpose of the storm troopers.
It is the nationalization of the police force.
Any resistance will be a federal offense and be dealt with harshly.

  2. Mandatory death penalty for drug dealers would go a long way to reducing over does deaths!

    1. So would housing people in concentration camps, and busing them to and from the labor camps.

People like to knee-jerk into banning something because its dangerous, then wonder why we have become a society of pussywillows.

      1. Mainly because too many white liberals insist on making it our problem. If it remained only the problem of the participants, no one else would care.

Do what you want. Just don’t make it my problem.

      1. No they don’t disappear with legalization. People will still have to acquire the drugs.

Perhaps we should provide them free? And in unlimited quantities?

The dispensaries can be located next door to politicians and judges offices and homes.

  3. Everyone with two neurons to rub together knew that the defunding the police was a disastrous idea. You could see it coming from a 100 miles away.

And yet supposedly intelligent, educated, responsible adults got behind the idea anyway, and caused untold misery as a result. It was straight out of an Ayn Rand novel.

How do we get people into positions of power that have basic common sense, and who do not allow their intellect to be hijacked by fashionable ideologies?

    1. Unfortunately, most people who are sane and intelligent have better things to do. It’s mostly those who suck at life in general that pursue public office.

  4. No one I know in the SF Bay Area wants to get anywhere near the SF shithole. And nobody is riding BART any more. The BART parking lots that used to be full, every day, are virtually EMPTY. Almost no cars at all. It’s dangerous and stinky. It’s nothing more than a mobile homeless encampment. The SF Bay Area is literally imploding on its supermajority one-Party (Democrat) rule. The CA dream is dying. Fast.

  5. I have no doubt Breed’s stupid and her ‘ideas’ on policing are too, but it’s not the primary problem. The phrase ‘violent drug dealers’ comes up again and again and demonstrates the role of drug prohibition in all this. Legalize the drugs, end the violence. Simple as.

Also legalize housing. People are leaving and it’s still insanely expensive.

    1. Hahahaha ha … “legalize housing”. Which is leftist speak for “free housing”. Yeah, make housing free … and see the utter shithole THAT creates. Nothing but squalor … like every other public housing project ever built.

    2. So turning the cities into drug-infested dystopian warrens and forcing everyone to live there is “freedom”?

Sounds like what Nicolae Ceausescu wanted.
