    1. Unless the state has the power to issue currency based on gold and silver the feds will still screw up their state and the economy.

      1. Sorry, V, I was unclear. I meant for WEXIT. I have no interest in using loonies. Fresh new currency, termed “Buffalo dollars”.

    1. He’s in a very tight race with lactating Pete Buttigieg for Hood Ornament/MVP of the most incompetent administration in history.

    2. Every weapon can be an assault weapon if used for that purpose. Far too many idiots with a platform these days.

    1. Subsidizing Chinese incendiary devices tells us everything we need to know about the state of the Union.

      1. Whatever pops off the top of their tiny minds is deemed worthy of consideration. There really is no cure short of them assuming room temperature.

    1. Sadly, he just needs to declare himself as trans and then instantly becomes the victim.

    1. Competence is No Longer a Thing.
Why do I suspect the flight crew was in complete compliance with DEI hiring guidelines?

  1. Robert … you and I dearly love Stevie Winwood … don’t we? Sea of Love is simply an incredible song, with so many interesting tempo and instrumental changes … such a unique rock/love song … love of life. And Clapton plays a brilliant solo in the park on this day.

It’s funny that the Rock critics weren’t very enthusiastic about Blind Faith when the lp debuted … calling it so-so, forgettable music. It seems the critics ears were tuned to 2:05 rock/pop songs suitable for AM radio. But in the ensuing years the critics have come to recognize the musical genius of this seminal one hit wonder of an lp. Absolutely brilliant music that only gets better with time and repeated play. Quality music that grows on your brain is an amazing metaphysical phenomenon. Crap music gets worse with repeated play. There’s something resonant with music … resonant within our souls and spirit. When it’s in sync … it can be literally heavenly.

And don’t forget the 18yo Stevie Winwood … writing, playing, and singing simply amazing music for a musician of any age …

      1. Wow. You get around my friend. Your photos are beautiful. If you don’t do photography professionally … you should (you can’t be too old). Listened to some of Lilly’s music … and I like her voice. She inherited some good genes. Sadly, I never saw her dad live. I’ve become a massive “Supergroup” fan somewhat retroactively … Cream, Traffic, Blind Faith. Liked the music as a kid … LOVE it as an “adult”.

One of my closest friends was a HS science teacher (retired) who did portraiture as a side business, but one day he decided he wanted to do F1 motorsports photography. It just so happened that it was the first year of the Long Beach Grand Prix (US Grand Prix West) … so he scrambled around and obtained a Press Pass that got us right up to the track, and in all the paddocks, garages … everything. He took me along as his equipment carrier. What an absolute BLAST! One of the most unique experiences of my life … the smell of nitrous … tailpipes belching fire on the downshift chicane … and the women … oh my! The F1 WAGS are top class!! His specialty was portraiture … mostly candid shots … and he took some droolworthy pics that weekend.

And back to music … I will always remember driving to the Grand Prix and the radio played Blondie’s techno-rap … “Rapture” … I had never heard anything quite like that … and was hooked on Blondie for good. Isn’t it funny how music marks our time and place on this planet?

    1. You mean that the CBC and Toronto Star haven’t yet done stories about how racist xenophobic cis-gendered male Paul Stanley Schmidt, repeatedly ran into poor Inderdeep Singh Gosa’s knife (he carried for when he needed to butter his scones) just to ensure that the Person of Colour would be arrested and sent to jail and to further increase racism in the white supremacist old stock Canadian hegemony? 🙁

    2. First off, that is a lot of blood. Second wtf? One guy just sits there drinking his coffee while another guy gets it all on his cell phone?

  2. For some reason the Liberals are not getting much love for their “fiscal restraint” budget. Someone said the Liberals are “trying to tax their way to prosperity”.

The Liberals will generate $3 B per year from a new tax on wealthy Canadians. It’s the new math.

  3. I saw Blind Faith at Varsity Stadium in Toronto in 1969 on their one and only tour. Delaney and Bonnie & Company opened for them. Wow! Tough act to follow. Clapton was so impressed he quit his band, joined theirs and eventually stole the rhythm section.

    1. Those selfish people, not wanting to reward those who rule over them as befitting their status. After all they are entitled to their entitlements they have entitled themselves to.

I am sure Chairman Justin’s loyal staff are thinking of ways and spending the needed sums on consultants on how to reeducate the ignorant masses to correct their wrong thinking!
