Saskatchewan is aiming to provide the building blocks for the 21st century

Here’s how critical minerals are involved in a typical cellphone. Government of Saskatchewan

To provide the building blocks of 21st century technology, #Saskatchewan releases Critical Mineral Strategy. That includes helium, lithium, potash, copper, nickel, uranium, and a whole pile of rare earth elements. Saskatchewan wants to double its share of the mineral exploration pie in Canada.

In a related story, flow through shares would be great, if only they applied to helium exploration, says Royal Helium CEO.

But Saskatchewan’s Critical Mineral Strategy’s flow through shares are a big deal for junior mining company Buffalo Potash.

  1. Good luck competing with 6 year old kids mining in the Congo and Uighur and Falun Gong slave labour processing.

And do you think Turdeau will allow any new mines to open?

    1. That’s the rub. The West is addicted to cheap electronics, but they’re only cheap because China has no environmental safeguards and uses literal slave labour. Increase the price of the raw components to include Canada’s labour and environmental standards and it’s amplified all the way through the supply chain.

Anything built with Saskatchewan metals will be more expensive, probably an order of magnitude so. It’s inevitable.

    1. Make an economic pact and partner with Alberta.. if Sing-Song and the Dope can gang up on us westerners, we should form our own alliances and FIGHT BACK!

    1. The last of Canadian industry is under attack, we call them Bombardier and SNC Lavalin.
Once they’re gone, we will be no different than the effin Congo.

  2. Good for SK!
Except for lithium, of course. Lithium is super-gay according the the “conservatives.”
1st they whine that Congo kids mine it, then they say we shouldn’t even try to compete with them using professionals with advance equipment.
Canada is screwed, one end willingly blows the libs, the other end is willingly buggered by them, and we think that the blow end is the LPC and the bugger end is the CPC.
Max has no chance, so take your pick, blow or be buggered!
