      I can understand their opposition. They live in permanent vacation time. Regular folks spend a lot of money to go camping, fishing, hunting in the woods for a week or two once a year. They do it free, full time. Looking pretty well fed too, courtesy of the taxpayer. If they had to make a living in the traditional way I suspect they’d be quite happy to see the mine come.

Folks for all you who want to separate, maybe you might want to clean up the stupid ignorant people who are more than willing to destroy your society and culture. By the way, religion and church is major part of that. Socialism has no place in a civilized country or society.

    1. Working on it, V. Attended 3 meetings in the last 2 days to that end. More grass roots folk getting involved. First things first, we need to keep the commies out come May. At one of the meetings a gent noted that he knows one of Red Rachel’s fundraisers. Said fundraiser has told him he’s receiving a lot of resistance & push back from potential donors. Lethbridge West commie, Shannon Phillips, won by ~230 votes last time. Get out & vote, people! Especially in the cities!

      Have seen a 15 second clip making its rounds on U-tube, pointing out 3 Commie concerns w/ DS. One of them is that DS wants to get an Alberta Pension Plan going, much the same as Kaybeck has for years. Apparently the commies don’t like Kaybeck, either. Either that, or they’re so stupid they’re unaware of the QPP.

      1. The time to start an Alberta Pension Plan was 25 years ago when the Canada Pension plan was broke. When premiums were 6% instead of 12%. There is now a pot of money and Chinese Tool Trudeau might not want to fairly share it.

        Alberta should separate itself from every federal program possible as has Quebec. The schools should teach Alberta history, not Canadian history. We should leave all the marketing boards which are all in place to protect Quebec’s agriculture. Make it so leaving Canada is so simple no-one would even notice.
