    1. Everyday Kenji I read of someone younger than me dying. Used to be the obits were a majority of people over 80 in my area, now it seems the dead are younger every damn day. ?????

        The lyric is an acknowledgement of each player given the freedom to “do what they like” with the jam … but it also delivers a broader message for individual Liberty and freedom … and social responsibility.

        Isn’t it ironic … the RADICAL left’s music and messages of the 1960’s … are now conservative in today’s world.

    1. Seven to one casualty ratio? At that rate, the Russians might run out of troops before Ukraine does.

      Supposedly a lot of the Russian casualties (40,000) at Bakhmut were Russian prison inmates hired by the Wagner Group, and thrown into battle with little or even no training. Others were “mobilized” Russian troops. Supposedly 150,000 out of the 300,000 Russians mobilized in November were thrown into military units without any training. Sounds like the literal definition of “Cannon Fodder.”

      The other 150,000 are supposedly being trained before being thrown into battle.

      2. I don’t know about 7 to 1 ratio. Possible briefly in recent days, but only briefly. The over all ratio is, according to most estimates between 3.5 to 4.5 to 1.

    Maybe the reason is Dr. Fauci was so desperate to stop the investigation into the Chinese Coronavirus origins was that he and the US Government were financing the Gain of Function Research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology? Maybe he realizes that being an accomplice in the research that escaped and killed millions of people could be a crime?

    At a minimum, it would destroy his reputation.
