Now add the “in your face” abject murder of those who partook/died of the Jonestown Jab…??

  1. The 2023 stats for Saskatoon are incorrect. They have the latest but they don’t have the first one of the year.

  2. The chart shows homocides per 100,000 population.

Brampton is around 1.7. Huh? Did the victim almost die?

What am I missing? Are they projecting an annual rate?

    1. Rest assured that ALL government statistics are as bogus as NOAA “record” hot temperature data.

    2. allegedly they have a population of 797024 thus 13.55 people died in Brampton….

      which isn’t much better

  3. Will the murder stats have a : ‘ No suspect description at this time’ for every murder committed by a “BIPOC”, and a total and complete, full on description of the wanted suspect in the rare time that a White man commits murder in Canada??

  4. 2021 in Ottawa wasn’t a good year if somebody needed a quart of phlegm in their throat to pronounce your name.

    Right Abdulqadir Yusuf?

  5. After looking at the 2022 stats for Vancouver, I’m left with the distinct impression that there are enough knives around to more than make up for any reduction in homicides that could be achieved by taking away everybody’s guns.

  6. Its very disappointing that Winnipeg finished 2nd place not only in the Grey Cup but in the homicide statistics.

  7. Aldersyde, AB has one suspicious death in 2022, eventually ruled natural.
    Population 64. That’s 1562.5 per 100,000.

  8. More healing circles needed in Winnipeg, it appears, even if you dealing with crap data. Maybe Oshawa needs mandated courses on diversity for all. Sarc on.

Per 100,000 data inflates danger in smaller places vs. large cities, although gives a hint on where not to move if one wants to escape from big cities.

    1. The Oshawa numbers show one of the classic ways in which statistics can be misleading. 2022 was a bad year because of one incident in which a whole family were killed. There are many years when the murder count in one case, or no cases. If you took the ten year average it would be less than one despite 2022.
