While we are asking questions about McKinsey and consulting, can we find out what a $150000 payment from Global Affairs Canada to Dominic Barton – the former Director of McKinsey and Canadian Ambassador to the PRC – listed under “Other Services” was for?
He was a federal government employee at the time. Why was Dominic Barton getting paid extra on top of his public salary, and in what capacity?

Nothing will be left if the conservatives or liberal lite ever get back in, which I am not hopeful for. The numbers have turned such that no conservative government will ever return to power. Only a good faminie would solve it.
If people don’t start expecting serious answers from the Liberals, NDP, and the CBC about fertilizer use and carbon taxes in ordert to educate the voters, there will be a famine, and a lot sooner than people realize.
My guess is that the fertilizer issue will be DOA. Farmers will ignore it as will provincial governments. In fact, I would recommend that Alberta and Saskatchewan get together and fund the building of an enormous fertilizer plant and tell the feds to piss off.
