Sunday On Turtle Island

Woke Britain:  Eat your bugs and don’t fish.  Not everyone is happy about Church of England reparations.

Environment Scam News:  The population time bomb.  And freezing in New York.

Trudeau’s Canada:  Another cable channel nobody asked for.  The Canadian border.  Justin orders his CTV to promote global warming scams.  The drag queens in B.C.  The renaming of everything on Turtle Island continues.

Biden’s America:  Trans education.  Little Joe’s corvette.  Tracking whom scientists sleep with.  The woke NHL.

  1. Re changing names by Thames Valley School Board.

    a) Thames Valley !!!! Frightfully colonial name isn’t it?

    b) Perhaps the school board could change the language of instruction for all students. English is so colonial.

All school teaching should be done in Ojibwe, the language of the Anishnaabe, who were living in the area before English colonialism. All school board meetings must also be in Ojibwe.

Sarcasm? Perhaps, but also poetic justice.

      1. You make it up. I’ve noted it before, along highway 93 in Montana between Polson & Missoula, there are road signs with the local Flathead Indian names of towns printed on them. Years ago there was also a guy at the U of Leth who compiled a Blackfoot dictionary.

The irony of Whitey doing something for the Indians that they were unable to do themselves should not be missed.

        1. White man? But, but, but – Cree oral history. We all know that oral history is much more accurate than what white man wrote down and is infinitely more profitable.

“A conflicting account is recorded in Cree oral traditions, asserting that the script originated from Cree culture before 1840. Per these traditions, syllabics were the invention of Calling Badger, a Cree man. Legend states that Badger had died and returned from the spirit world to share the knowledge of writing with his people.”

          1. A further irony is that oral histories passing through alleged generations of Indians are revered as truth, yet if someone recalls an anecdote from last week, last month or last year they are castigated as unreliable.

    1. Funny that Paul Ehrlich, an advocate of limiting population has lived to be 90, and his wife is 89.

You’d think they’d come to Canada to take advantage of MAiD. To save the planet.

    1. Your not allowed to ask in Trudeauland…You RACIST PIG…
Now back to the slave ovens for you…signed by executive order Trudeau.

  2. Still waiting for the city of Brantford to change its name. Interesting that it never gets mentioned despite Joseph Brant’s ownership of slaves.

    1. Brant was a member of a protected group, and therefore immune from cancellation. See? That’s how this works.

  3. I have no problem with the Inuit getting their own TV channel with everyone speaking Inuktitut. I don’t even mind paying the few pennies in taxes that it would cost me.
But I want the CBC canned at the same time because its French and English programming is patronizing and racist and hateful. And I want the 40 dollars a year I would get back in taxes.

    1. How much programming will I watch on this brand new Indian tv station?
      Nunavut.
Ha ha, I crack me up sometimes.

    2. I’ve had the CBC on channel block for the past 25 years. This new abomination will receive similar treatment.

      1. I cut the cord and said goodbye to cable last year, it’s Kodi and IPTV for me. They can force me to pay for this sewage but they can’t force me to watch it.

  4. I would like to know what year Joe’s corvette is. Because if it’s a 1984 then that’s the safest place for confidential documents. But be careful. Someone might try and slip in a 1985 beside the ’84. With or without confidential documents I don’t know. But I do know the Dems don’t want Joe to run again. Question is, who DO they want? Maybe Newsome. In the meantime you can put the top down on that 1984 corvette full of classified documents and nobody will touch it.

  5. This para from Little Joe’s Corvette is so perfect for Trudeau, Butts and our LibDP/PSAC rulers:

“I went on to note that the mandarins who rule us, far from being troubled by the suffering of ordinary people, actually approve of a certain amount of suffering. “Suffering produces dependency,” I wrote, “and dependency, in turn, is like an insurance policy for those who cater to it: the bureaucrats who fill the troughs that feed the populace. The point, of course, was never to end the dependency but to manage in such a way as to perpetuate and expand it. Joe Biden is an errand boy, a figurehead, in the metabolism of this great (not to say Great Society) act of political legerdemain.”

  6. I’m okay with the government paying say, $10 million a year for the channel to run in a language only 0.5% of the country speaks so long as they cancel the $1.5B that the CBC gets as it only draws 1% of the country for viewers.
    A great trade.
Just make it optional for subscribers so that they’re not forced to pay any amount of money for a channel they can’t even understand let alone care to watch.
Any other ultra small minorities want a channel at $10M a pop? I’m fine with 50 of ’em so long as the bloated corpse of the CBC if finally put out of our misery. Assuming they’d find 50 groups, we’d still save $1B a year and the Liberals could pander to 50 different groups instead of the one over paid group of unionized propagandists that is the CBC and it’s handful of brainwashed viewers.

    1. If one were to divide the cost of the new channel by the number of likely viewers it would show that providing these few a live-in personal translator would be a cost saving.

  7. I picked the scientist article ’cause I thought it was about scientists sleeping with spies; but no, this was way more important. (/s) (/s?)
What did strike me was the separation, in their minds, between identity and orientation. This of course is why they cannot define a woman. In fact, the anomic status of the situation is fully indicative of a greater security threat which they happily accomodate, even encourage, for now.
So… no, it’s not about sleeping with spies. Silly me; but the survey could at least identify people experiencing moral collapse if only they included the orientation question. It’s a great dissapointment because there’s going to be a really really great conference for LGBTQ…..

It’s interesting to watch how they line folks up before they kill them isn’t it?
