    Why is nobody held to account for this ‘climate’ nonsense?

    1. Because there’s still too much money to be made and too much power to be consolidated with it. Once the money dries up you can rest assured that a few sacrificial goats will be thrown to the public.

  4. The mantra here in CA is … “4-year drought” … “4-year drought” …

    So what defines a “drought”? Answer: there is NO scientific definition. No precise definition. The “Drought Monitor” who publishes all the bright RED drought maps … “measures” tree stress and other such nonsense to determine “drought”. They said my home experienced EXTREME drought last year … but my oak trees had never put on so much growth as they did last year.

    Fact is … that CA has had THREE years of below AVERAGE precipitation. And if the State would actually KEEP water in their reservoirs … there would be ZERO “visual” evidence of any drought whatsoever. We are being LIED TO … by every Agency that is supposed to be telling us the TRUTH. And nothing they spew is remotely close to “science”.

      1. What did the Delta Smelt do during droughts … before the dams were built? Oh yeah! Nothing. Because they aren’t a native fish.

    2. Digging a big hole in the ground is far too challenging for California’s most educated. Train to nowhere? No problem. And it does to to nowhere.

    1. Based on the pictures I’ve seen of California, moderate drought means the tops of the fence posts are still visible.

  6. Oh! And we are currently experiencing BOTH drought … and flooding … “experts” say. Stop me if you’ve heard this one before … that global warming causes both EXTREME heat and EXTREME cold. Both EXTREME drought and EXTREME flooding … gawwwwd.

    And their proof? Our reservoirs are currently below average … DWR Director Karla Nemeth says despite all this, the majority of the state’s key storage reservoirs continue to be below average even after weeks of torrential rainfall. What a LIAR. CA reservoirs don’t reach their peak until July!!! After the snowpack has melted off and run into the reservoirs. Dec./Jan. are pretty much the time of LOWEST reservoir levels. It “sounds” contradictory … but that’s the TRUTH. This DWR Director! is deliberately LYING. And the coastal reservoirs … that don’t depend on snowmelt? They’re all FULL!! 100% FULL.

    1. Oroville dam is filling rapidly, they might even get a chance to try out that new spillway that got washed away, the last time it ‘droughted’?!

  8. In Montecito California (hi Kenji) the topography changes from 1 km to sea level over a lateral distance of 7 km, suggesting an 8 degree average slope. If you look on Google Earth you can see the area is completely built-up, including monster homes and golf courses. So where does the water run during a storm? Along the few remaining ditches and/or wherever the water wants. Completely woman-made problem.

    1. Hi Steve fR – If you can afford a home in Montecito … you can afford a Civil Engineer to design a storm water drain system to protect your property. Oh! Wait! … California has a little rule called C.3 … instituted by the DWR that mandates EVERY developed parcel in CA … MUST … discharge ALL drainage ONTO your own property. NO stormdrains. What happens when your property is saturated with water? it floods … and then the mud runs.

      But seeing as how the conceited Montecito residents are all eco-leftist FRAUDS cheered this “water quality” rule … I have ZERO sympathy for their landslided properties. Eat it. Just another GREAT eco-ruling that never anticipated unforeseen circumstances. Willfully unforeseen.

    If all those WEF members participated by zoom, instead of flying in private jets, science says there’d be lots of snow in Davos.

      1. Hopefully all the jets will get covered with 3 cm of ice from freezing rain, followed by 2 to 3 metres of snow.

    1. That’s incorrect, Watcher, based-on a simple premise:

      1) He’s Prime Minister, and gave the Press a $billion of our money over the last three elections – with (no doubt, and no doubt quietly communicated to them already) more to come next election – he says it is the “REAL DEAL”; and

      2) You are not Prime Minister, and you (probably) haven’t given the Press a d@mn plug nickel over the last three elections – with (if you’re like me) none going to them, ever again – you (and I) say it;s a hoax; so

      3) The Press endlessly, droolingly parrot every word out of his mouth, INCLUDING that CO2 is the “REAL DEAL”, and could care less if they tried really extra-hard, what you (and I) have to say about it.

      – The which, there’s a simple proof that CO2 is a hoax:

      1) He says it is the “REAL DEAL”; and

      2) Every word out of that man’s mouth is a lie; so

      3) CO2 is a hoax.

    So … how much longer will Gavin Newsom and the DWR keep insisting CA is still in a drought … from which we NEVER recover … no matter how much rain and snow!! ?? PS … it’s just been POURING all day at my house … my yards are LAKES … again, for the 5th time since Oct. And much more rain is predicted for the weekend.
