  • September – 9th month yet “Sept” is French for 7
  • October – 10th month yet “Oct” indicates 8
  • November – 11 month yet “Nov” is derivation of 9
  • December – 12th month yet “Dec” indicates 10

      1. David, in all the pontificating & speculating I’ve read about ’24/’28, I must admit I haven’t come across anything that mentioned Newsome. It was rather jarring to read those two words. Talk about a “Holy shit!” moment.

  16. The calendar guy. I didn’t watch the whole video but there seem to be issues. He says September, October, November, and December were made the 9th, 10th,11th, and 12th month in Roman times. So does much of the internet. Actually, March was the first month of the year until some time in the 18th century. The months made numeric sense until relatively modern times. Ask any genealogist. After the change January and February dates were often shown as Feb 3, 1761/62.

    Unrelated, I had a great-great-great-grandfather born in France in Year 3. During the Revolution they invented a new calendar which was less successful than the metric system.

    1. the ides of march , march 15 was the first day of the year. hence bumping off caesar on the new year / Feb was the last month of the year and quite adjustable . losing a day to august , and gaining a day every 4 years. the first two weeks of march were often just holidays. sort of like Christmas, easter , spring break , any other time for canadian school kids now. now less than 180 days per year in most places .

    Head of the European Federation Ursala Van Der Heyden let the 100,000 plus number slip in October last year. This one battle in Soledar wiped out another 25,000 plus Ukrainian’s.
    When will the US MIC and pigs like Trudeau have enough blood.
    He spend 6B tax dollars last year for the crook Zelensky, even tho we know the Ukrainians are selling these weapons in Africa and the EU. He just gave them 100 new armored vehicles plus today a complete Ai Defense system worth a couple of billion. He is a criminal and a war monger.
