It doesn’t overstate, it accurately reflects the propensity of black and brown men to engage in criminal behavior, and this will only encourage them to do more.

The solution is obvious … arrest more white men. Make shit up. Just bust in their doors and say they’re suspected of crimes against BIPOC’s. That outta balance out the “white privilege” eh? Go bust out the tail lamps of their Porsche SUV’s and look for their illegal guns … oh … and bring some guns to plant because no good white leftists in SF carry guns.

Nowadays people can’t even look at it on a map.
The place is hopeless.

The normal thing to do would be to release all mugshots, or none.

Whenever there’s no picture of the perp I always assume he/she is black, brown or native.
And 99.9% of the time you would be correct. Unless it is an illegal from south of the border.
In all these Canada posts (with a few exceptions), ALL the perps are black and/or Muslim, Asian (south or east) or Native. The balance largely have French-Canadian surnames. Makes sense. Most of our homegrown political criminals are from Quebec, too.
more butterfly-effect morality. A Maga hat causes someone to burn down a building, now the mugshot causes black men to commit more crime.
Why isn’t there a symbol, word, phrase that compels people to do good things? All our problems would be solved.

This reminds me of Toronto back in the early 1990’s when either the police or the Toronto Star (or both) decided to not provide a description of a suspect that included race (unless they were non BIPOC). I expect they saw their folly at some point and abandoned that idea.
