  1. They’ll still vote liberal. That I can guarantee. Toronto would vote liberal on the way to the gas chamber.

      1. Exciting new series premiering soon on CBC… the MAD Squad.
Episode 1: Watch how the mobile MAD Squad reduced the waiting times at Service Canada in Brampton.

  2. The COVID social distance lineups at the big box stores were early conditioning for this. The Soviet Communist way – line up for your one rancid potato for this week.

  3. Canada … one of the world’s fastest growing shit-holes. We are going broke and there is very little housing available … food is becoming unaffordable and we are being governed by an immature, know – nothing tyrant who is working overtime to disarm the farmers.
As long as Trudeau and company is running this nut-house it will continue it’s slide to oblivion.
Unless we get a majority Pollievre government, there will be no good news from Canada evermore.

    1. I’ve got news for you my friend. Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada, or just the Liberal Party of Canada and whoever they have as a leader, is never going to lose an election again in this country.
They are spending 1.6 billion dollars a year on controlling the mainstream media and they are bringing in half of a million new liberal voters every year, year after year after year. The best we could ever hope for in the future is a liberal minority government. They will never lose an election again in this country and that is what they’ve been working on for decades.

      1. And if that doesn’t work, they can always rig the election, and no one… not the media, or the courts will give it a boo. The courts will simply dismiss any legal challenge as a) moot, b) without standing, or c) without evidence, and the media will echo this by saying that there’s nothing to see here, so move along, and if you dare question the process, you get put on a terror watch list as a threat to our democracy.

Have I covered all the bases?

    2. Oh, you poor nieve soul, you still think that we can vote our way out of this. Even more nieve, you still think voting CPC will produce anything resembling a meaningful course correction.

Alberta and Saskatchewan need to secede. Save themselves while they still can. The rest of this country is too far gone to save. It has to hit bottom before there’s any hope of recovery. Sadly we’ve still got a long way to go to hit that bottom.

      1. Oh, you poor naive soul, you still think that we can vote our way out of this … Alberta and Saskatchewan need to secede.

Totally agree with you. But we’re not going secede our way out of this either.

Consider World War II. All that carnage and all we were able to do was defeat governments and their armies. The ideas that made it happen? All World War II managed to do was slow the ideas down for a few years – we did not defeat the ideas.

Defeating the ideas is going to to be horrific and brutal and extraordinarily personal and close to home.

      2. Agreed. The prairies and BC are getting stiffed. Our contributions are being pissed away by the same people who are driving the country to rack and ruin. A change in government won’t fix anything.

        1. Almost a dozen counties in eastern Oregon and north-eastern California have voted (or are voting) to join what is being referred to as Greater Idaho. It’s not a done deal yet as, apparently, there’s some question of the states being seceded from and the federal government needing to approve but it’s a start. They sure as hell know the residents are serious! In the case of the counties in Oregon, they successfully defeated a firearms bill last summer which otherwise would have passed.

      3. “Alberta and Saskatchewan need to secede.”

How utterly absurd. Those two provinces don’t even control their own police forces. Secede how? If you don’t control the folks with the guns, your chance of secession is zero. Every successful independence movement in history understood that. That you don’t indicates that all you are doing is charting a route to your own ruin.

        1. It’s easy enough to control our own police forces. By the way, Ukraine seceded from Russia in 1991 by simply proclaiming it would no longer follow the laws of USSR and only the laws of the Ukrainian SSR.

        2. “Those two provinces don’t even control their own police forces.”

Not yet. It’s on the ‘to do’ list. One step at a time. We’ve made great strides in just a year.

  4. That’s why the western 3 or 4 provinces need to breakaway away from this CON-federation!
Democracy is mob rule. The golden triangle has the mob.

    1. How does Alberta leave when so many there are enamored with the Notleys and Nenshis of the world? Are there enough out west willing to leave? Just for the record, I fully support your efforts to flee this sinking ship.

      1. Both Notley and Nenshi were elected while the right was split.
If / when we have a separation referendum, it’ll be, do you want to separate from tier 2 dying Canada, or do you want to stay within Canada like the frog placed in cool water, and then brought to. a boil.

An either / or vote. And after this spring’s expected federal election. will be an ideal time for it.
(I’m a bit of an optimist..)

  5. Some little known history.
There was a lot of life time NDPer’s in Saskatchewan that were sympathetic and supportive of the WCC in 1982.
But knowing the WCC was not yet strong enough to form government but upon hearing the message of the WCC moved.
It was this dynamic that moved them to vote for the Grant Devine conservatives.

Saskatchewan NDPers have no love for federal liberals.

    1. Anybody who needs a passport this year. That’s how you get one now. Show up at 5AM and join the growing line. If you come after 8AM, an hour before it opens, you’re too late.

That’s Hamilton. Brampton, clearly much worse. Show up today and stay all night for a try tomorrow.

    2. Who? Legal and illegal immigrants who want their tickets (driver’s licence, health care card, passport) to all of the free stuff available at taxpayers’ expense. They are definitely not lining up to pay taxes or volunteer their time for charitable organizations.

  6. I guarantee you that these lemmings will freak if their Tim Horton’s order is messed up or they lost their luggage after a prolonged lobby nap in Cuba.

    Priorities.

    Bread and circuses.

  7. Same folks filling the ques in Georgetown all of last year. A town that actually closed down their one ServiceOntario
    location.

  8. Now for the CBC spin:

The lineup is mostly Americans who are applying for permanent residency in Shangri-la North since Trump’s recent surge in popularity.

    1. Free Shinola for the foreign riffraff. I wonder how many language interpreters are also required to serve the welfarians?

  9. As it happens, I had reason to visit my local services Canada office yesterday. No line ups, but a few people inside, plus there was a security guard at the door, blocking me from entering, until I advised HIM, of my reason for the visit. I mentioned it was regarding a GST refund issue, but no, not good enough, he wanted details, and said he would check with staff about my query for me. When he disappeared to make the query, I’m standing there thinking, “this is services Canada, that my taxes pay for, and they have security blocking the doorway, and demanding the private details of my visit”. When he returned, he advised I could enter if I use the hand sani station and put on a mask! I left, they can keep their piddling GST refund!

Maybe they are having issues with irate customers, and need security to guard the joint. If this government is so useless, I can understand the pissed off citizens, but they are the ones that caused these issues.
