  5. Remember the Polar Vortex? The jet-stream slows and becomes unstable (due to global warming) and wobbles down from the polar region causing weather chaos everywhere.

    Now we have the “super-straight jet-stream” where the jet stream is so straight (as a ruler) that it will cause weather chaos worldwide.

      If you truly believe this, you may be heartened to know that NOT. ONE. PREDICTION made by the global-warming crowd (and the global-cooling crowd before them – yes, I’m old enough to remember when global cooling was going to kill us all) has come true in the last 50 years – not one. That’s a 0% success rate; or, a 100% failure rate. And Weathernetwork is one of the most egregious serial CAGW-alarmism offenders. The official statistic on forecasts, BTW, is that they are 98% accurate for the first hour after they’re issued, and then go rapidly downhill after that. So forecasting weather years in the future, when the Earth is ~80,000 years overdue for another ice age? Uh-huh… (-_-)

  8. There have been attacks on American electricity grid infrastructure. Some have blamed ring-wing yahoos and their guns trying to make their prepper dreams come true. Others have blamed the environmental yahoos on the left who want to hasten the end of the human sixth mass extinction.

    Turns out it was just a couple of guys trying to make money the easy way – break and enter, by cutting the power first.

      that are unexplained.

    1. The pot industry turned out to be a bust. Hundreds of millions have been lost by investors. Many have gone broke.

      The Indian industry owns the retail tobacco market and is making inroads into pot. Windfall taxes governments predicted never materialized.

      The underground pot market has been largely unaffected. It continues to flourish buoyed by high prices in the government stores.

      Oh, and the much touted value of pots medical powers? They went up in smoke.

    1. This kind of crap is exactly why the House Freedom Caucus is so opposed to Kevin McCarthy being seated as the Speaker of the House. We don’t need a California Clown in a $3,000 suit and a $300 tie leading House Democrats. We need someone from the heartland who has little to lose, and who is willing to be incredibly disruptive to the mainstream Republican Party.
