That’s an average of $350,000 per employee in costs. Overheads must be absurd.
Lotta $16 orange juices, idn’t it?
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Stealing the wealth of Canadians since 1867.
And even long before then.
Soon?
And Blackie’s CBC reminds everyone to watch their year end interview with Dear Leader. Rosemary Barton will have a heart warming discussion on how wonderful he is.
Wonder if they’ll include the first part of the clip where all you see is the top of her head bobbing up & down…
I will not miss that fatty when she is gone.
Oh great. Televised verbal filatio. I am afraid I cannot watch that cow Barton doing that… again.
Mooo…
Will she spit, choke or swallow?
On Needle Dick? Ain’t gonna be any choking…
Why would anyone expect anything different from a complicated and annoying tax?
Yes. Requires Ottawa jobs to oversee is seen as a plus. Penalizes regular Canadians is also seen as a plus. Hits the poor hardest is a part they won’t talk about, because why would anyone choose to be poor when they could have picked richer parents when they were born, like Dear Leader did?
“Soon everybody will be either working for the feds or dependent on them.”
That’s the Great Plan. And it’s proceeding because the geniuses writing the financial columns can’t see anything different between a public sector or a private sector job – so there can be nothing worrisome about a ballooning government bureaucracy and the spiralling decline of small businesses.
From what I’ve observed, a great swath of big, medium, small business as well as farmers want to be dependent on government. They lobby, lobby, lobby for handouts. It would be refreshing for them to say lower taxes and leave us the hell alone.
The only farmers that want to be dependent on the government are the quebec dairy farmers, but as they say it’s not a bug it’s a feature. The rest want to be left alone to live their lives and work their farms.
Not true. Whining for more ethanol mandates. Asking government for more subsidizes for income stabilization programs. In Ontario, we are forced by law to be members of associations that tax us and then use our money to lobby for more and more government intrusion. No opposition, just cozying up to those doing the taxing and dolling out the welfare. These are Bob Rae farm trade unions that neither succeeding Liberal or PC governments got rid of (they all like getting courted). https://gfo.ca/government-relations/provincial-priorities/

Nail on the head, Mike. Dead on.
And there is no opposition … especially of the HM Loyal kind.
I don’t know any farmers that want to be dependent on the government and few small businesses although there are still some socialists around
It’s not that they “want” to be dependent.
Farmers and small business owners are probably representative of the population at large: they have given no thought to the consequences of the malignant nature of the programs they subscribe to.
Well, my dad had a saying. “There’s a reason AIDS has an ”S” on the end. To prevent us farmers from applying for it.”
Why is it every government program requires the hiring of another bureaucracy to maintain it?
It’s so that their supporters can be rewarded. How else are you going to employee “Studies” program graduates?
Next up… the cost of the “free” dental program
A small cost to save the polar bears and the planet.
