Kenji, I was a (bored) teenager when I read Taylor Caldwell’s “Dear and Glorious Physician.” Our cottage “library” had a collection of books that the adults had read over the years and one summer I just picked a paperback that had the most interesting cover (Exodus and The Lord of the Rings covers were boring, lol). I had no idea it was about Saint Luke and I was hooked. Since then, I’ve had an affinity for his Gospel. Liturgically, 2022 was the best year for me, as it was the year dedicated to Luke’s Gospel in the Catholic Church.
