    1. Ha! I opened a Twitter account to support Musk and was just censored by them for joking that Carey Price, the one bad Indian … er … indigenous person, must die. They demanded I delete the comment. I appealed and lost and deleted my account. So it goes.
      .

      1. I too have another Twitter account that’s “in jail” for making a comment mocking another poster, which the algorithm flagged as “promoting self-harm” (it actually just quoted a couple of memes that are quite popular on . . . Twitter!). They invited me to rescind the comment or “appeal,” whereupon I told them to pound sand and delete the account.

If Elon revealed all the treachery and then annihilated Twitter tomorrow morning, I for one would not shed a tear.

        1. Amen to that. Still, I won’t remove a comment jokingly paraphrasing a BS speech from Turdo as, “in other words, Carey Price must die”. I cannot literally threaten someone on JT’s behalf and wished no one actual harm other than the damage the PM receives from mockery. His media has ganged up on Price.

    2. In answer to Kate. Or until say Alberta declares a UDI and wipes out all treatys and Ottawa contracts signed on Alberta’s behalf without the consent of 4.5 million Albertans.

  1. If blackface cared about First Nations………………

It’s pretty clear that Islamic or any other Third World immigrants will bend over backwards to lift Canada’s indigenous out of poverty like they have for the indigenous in their own countries. In another decade or so we’ll know for certain, eh.

  2. L – If when Prime Minister, Stephen Harper had appointed Kate to the Senate. We’d
likely not be in as much chaos, and for sure we’d have been forewarned. Harper
might even still be Prime Minister ?

Her observation/prediction is one, I share. Often, I’m reminded of the wisdom of
Cassandra. She of Greek legends and her: Timeo Donaos et Dona Ferentis.
“I fear Greeks bearing gifts”, a warning the Trojans ignored to their chagrin and demise.

    1. Not Cassandra. Laocoön. And it’s not “I fear Greek bearing gifts”. It’s “I fear the Greeks EVEN when they are bringing gifts.” Laocoön was rewarded for being correct (the context was the Trojan horse) by being killed along with his sons by a huge serpent. The statue is in the Vatican Museums.

The blog mistress is not a prophetess, but rather a clear-headed, intelligent person. And many people believe her, unlike Cassandra, whom no one believed, because she was cursed.

      1. L – I stand corrected, your translation is accurate. Thank you, I was remiss in not checking on my recollection of the details. Being corrected is one benefit of SDA.
For the most part, this blog’s participating audience is for the clear thinking or working
on that process. It’s a pattern awareness minority who eventually turn the stampede
from the cliff, but not all of the herd change direction in time.

  3. This Fairplay broad claims to be an entrepreneur. Not sure how a person is one by existing on government hand-outs, but okay.

Don’t be surprised to find out it is running for the Dippers.

  4. Just you watch the indigenous throw a freaking wrench into everything just as they always have.

  5. The simple truth is, I suspect that the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan would treat the “First Nations” BETTER than the feds. The feds use them as a captured voting block and the majority of Chiefs and Councils are bagmen and crooks.

      1. The Alexis Band up near Whitecourt had build a casino……it went bankrupt! A casino! Bankrupt!

The Osoyoos Band in B.C. has typically done very well.

        1. Westbank FN is even richer than Osoyoos. The Squamish and Capilano FN’s do pretty well too.

      2. Dakota Dunes south of Saskatoon appear to be doing pretty well.

Of course they are Sioux. Are Sioux really indians?

  6. Kate,,, are you being “shadow banned”?
When I click the Brooke Fairplay’s tweet, there are 5 response tweets, but yours doesn’t show up as one of them???

  7. Brooke FairPlay will be the first eaten when the zombie apocalypse hits.

    Change my mind.

Justin does have talent for pandering … until the greedy get impatient.

  8. The Firsty – rhymes with thirsty – Nations are willing to be bought.
Meanwhile 1/2 a million settlers arrive every year to get their piece of the dwindling pie.
As a collective, Indians are stupid, but that’s pretty much par for Canada.

  9. Cupcake?
    Crying isn’t an argument.
In fact it’s just more political pandering, which liberals are famous for.

Or, maybe I’m wrong. If I cry harder than you did do I get the win?

  10. I am wondering how their “Constitution” is going to mesh with the 1982 Constitution, not that it is worth embracing!

  11. When will the first nations in Canada come to realize that anyone that is against the Canadian federal government is on the same side as the Canadian first nations?

    1. How are these guys a nation?

Is there a recognised leader? Taxes? Infrastructure paid with taxes (theirs, not ours)?

Not nations in any stretch of the imagination.

  12. “He’s buying off #FirstNations leaders, as federal governments have always done, and will always do until eternity…”

Heh. Or until his gun control plans clash with ancestral indigenous hunting rights!

I do so love it when all the contradictions in the Liberal narrative suddenly collide.
