    Zimbabwe and Venezuela have both driven down this same road ahead of us..
    It always goes to the same place.
    And when Can Ahh Duh arrives there,our credentialed nitwits will give fine speeches about “Bad Luck”.
    And the Liberal NDP combine will blame the citizens who managed to flee this shambles with any wealth and tax every productive citizen ever more..
    If you can do basic mathematics,Ottawa is the best reason for an independent Western Nation.
    The only reason we need.
    Never mind all those little details of rights,freedoms and dignity.These are nice,and essential to a just society. But Debt and waste will destroy us all.
    And all Ottawa has ever brought the West is theft,waste and destruction..
    Oh yes indeed..
    We need a new country.

      It is not entirely the East, the rot and poison are well established in the west as well.

  4. Green theocracy and CRT coinciding with end-stage democracy will do that to a developed nation. Nothing of consequence gets built on land where overgrown governments, (Canadian, provincial, local and Indian) can’t agree on the sovereignty of which and where capitalists considering development must follow SCC-ruled endless consultation and shakedowns and studies with no assurances of success. Eventually capital flees the deranged dominion to more secure and less corrupt jurisdictions like Mexico or Asian countries. Canadians have been voting for poverty for decades and they will get it good and hard. Eventually even the public sector (responsible for the much of the economic demise) will suffer after sovereign default or runaway inflation.

    1. My nephew, an Ojibawa , is getting those Native residential school reparations along with the other tribes.
      This winter he will receive a lump sum $ 25,000 and an Xmas top up of $ 800 .
      Most of it will go to his liver and belly.
      Thats courtesy of you and me , the tax payer.
      Money flying out the door, heliocopter style.

  5. Something about this makes no sense. Turkey and Estonia will lead the way and Germany Canada and the uk will be last? Oh and Italy. I think percent growth needs to be normalized for inflation or something. Not buying the list.

  7. Alberta/Sask would be the best performing country over the next 4 decades if we decoupled from Canada. Seriously. Why do we do this to ourselves? Afraid? Too many commies in Alberta now to have a chance at any rate.
